Re: 2400 mAh Extended Battery- $11.99

Yes it is thicker. You will get that with most of the extended batteries. Now it does fit the original pouch that came with my phone. Also, the reason why the hump is there, is due to the speaker and camera. I read up with the extra thickness, there was a gap where the speaker is, and that gap wasnt sealed with some of the backs. People had to mod them to fill the gap using rubber rings. With the camera that extra gap left the picture with a 'ring' around it. I just figured i'd stay OEM that way i knew it could be fine and made for the phone.

Aren't there battery covers that look like the stock cover, but are just a bit thicker?

i've had the mugen for a week now... the cover is the most attractive out of all, people have been saying "dude, that battery tunnel looks sweet" lol...

when i first started using it, it was phenomenal compared to the oem original 1100! It did die from an entire day of using it, thats becuase i was pushing it to the max.... i work in a low traffic store, so i have tons of time to sit on my phone surfing... for the first 4 days i ended up with about 15% juice left, but this was because the battery hasn't been "trained" yet...
The minute i got the battery it had a 55% charge, so i drained it to nothing, recharged it to the fullest, then drained all the way again... i did this for like 4 days and every day it was like 10-15% max left, 1 of the days it did die....
But the past 2 days WOW'd me... i surfed and texted and emailed and ended with 45% the first night and 40% last night...
I was skeptical i wouldn't get a 2day charge since my first 4 days were just 1day... but now, since i CARED for my battery, its fr*ckin AMAZING!
I recommend the Mugen if u dig the cover... and i wouldn't fret about the size of any, it isn't even an issue once you've seen it and felt it in front of you.

Re: 2400 mAh Extended Battery- $11.99

I got mugen battery and it holds a great charge, but due to it's size it will not be my daily battery. I have a silicone skin case that only fits the OEM cover, so I will be usig that for the majority of my time. But I will bring out the extended battery when I'm playing golf using Intelligolf which uses GPS and won't survive 18 holes with it.

Re: 2400 mAh Extended Battery- $11.99

Is the Mugen worth the $80 w/o shipping? That's a big wad of cash there... It's tempting, but with newer, cooler phones right around the corner... is it worth it at THIS point... when I got my Vogue, I probably would have done it... hrm... time to induce thought...

I have pretty much gotten used to plugging my phone in when in the car, and in my room, and in the living room... I just have a charger in every place I can think of... even a spare car/house charger in my laptop case...

def worth the 80 bucks i spent... i took it off the charger about 5 hours ago, surfed the web on it for about 30mins until i got to a pc, had about 15 phone calls and have been watching live tv with my slingplayer for the past 2 hours straight and still 75% charge is left.... the oem battery would have been dead long ago...

but hey, if you charge it everywhere you go, then you shouldn't be having a problem and wanting an extended battery, right? Its just nice not having to worry bout pluging it in til i go to sleep

The newer better phones aren't comin for another 6 months minimum (atleast for sprint)... 80bucks for 6 months ain't bad.

Re: 2400 mAh Extended Battery- $11.99

I have the $16.00 extended battery. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN:IT&ih=003
I've had similar results as syanni85. It was sketchy at first, but after about a week, I'm getting phenominal battery life. Took it off the charger at 5:00 this morning, made about 10 calls, streamed about 30 minutes of video, checked e-mail 5 times, took and edited some pictures, streamed bluetooth music for about an hour, and used GPS for an hour. It's now 10:45 PM and I have 50% battery left. Awesome!

Actually, it also says "Compatible With
HTC:
HTC Touch / Vogue / P3450 ELF / HTC 6900 / XV6900 "

The battery works perfectly with the Sprint Touch/Vogue and the extended back cover fits perfectly to the phone and the camera opening and speakerphone opening align perfectly. If I were to spend $80 on an extended battery, I would rather have 5 of these batteries and I wouldn't have to charge anything for a week, LOL.

yeah but alot of really cheap batteries don't have over heat or overcharge protection and can either burnout or blow if you leave them on the charger for too long... i didn't wanna take that chance so i bought a higherquality one... and honestly, i've got a feeling those cheap ones will stop holding a charge after a few months....

anyone had there's for 3-4 months yet?
