the touch also has a flush screen that makes it look like 15% larger, also making it easier to access outter letters of the onscreen keyboard (which i am now faster on than the moguls hard keyboard) and waaaay easier for the "x" button.... when you put the extended battery it lasts atlease twice as long as the mogul would with the same amount of use... ATLEAST

plus, with double the memory, you don't have to close programs that ur still using just to open another one.... its a way better phone in my opinion.

wifi is for people who don't want to pay for a data plan, cuz rev A is just as fast... the wifi is only 802.11b... weak

802.11b? Are you kidding? That's still 10 times faster than what the phone hardware could even process!

Yeah I guess the RAM is pretty important... If you wanted to go that route, you could get the 6700 and do the 128mb upgrade...

802.11b does NOT have a faster download than my rev a... maybe a faster upload...

i'm saying first hand, testing it with my old mogul, i saw it with my own eyes... maybe i live in an area with good signal...

i'd have to admit, my mogul's rev A was on average 150kb/s faster than my touch

802.11b runs at 11mbps...

and I assume you meant 150kbps faster, not kb/s.

Just goes to show, the hardware is nowhere near fast enough to take advantage of a wifi chip...

i completely agree with the "technical side" and yeah i did mean kbps... BUT, rev a is just as fast as wifi was for me... i dunno... eitherway, i never really used the wifi on my mogul and thats why i don't mind not having it on the touch... its just easier not having to worry about "hot spots"

Re: 2400 mAh Extended Battery- $11.99

True... but I had heard before that wifi can use less power than rev A... My battery goes pretty quick on internet...

In general, I just think it's kind of silly to double the size of the Touch... BUT I definitely see the need sometimes, and perhaps I would get one to switch back and forth... use the normal one most of the time, and the extended when necessary...

but I guess at that point, might as well get an additional stock battery...

well with the extended battery, i can actually utilize the 128mb of ram and not close apps in fear of it sucking the battery dry... its really helpful cuz i don't always have time to finish what i'm doin on my phone, so i just minimize... even with the extended batt, its not NEARLY as clunky as the mogul
