I Am So Sick Of This @#$%@#$% Phone!!!

Seriously.. I am going to throw it through a window!!

I miss 95% of my calls, EVERY DAMN DAY!!! I get about 40-60 calls a day for business and I'm lucky to get about 5 of them. the phone half rings and goes right to VM!!!

Now I see the Rev A update deal. I wanted to give it a go!! You think I would get lucky? NO!!! Active sync @#$@#$ SUCKS!!!!

I have 4 phones since I got this, all with different problems.
I have had two installs of XP, SP2, and now Vista.. Every @#$@#$ TIME I try to connect my phone, it will connect for about 20-30 seconds AND THEN SAY "NOT CONNECTED" WHY !@#$@#($(@#$ (*@#$* IS IT DOING THIS!!! I am so livid right now,To do the Rev A. deal I need to be connected, yea right!!

I have tried every @#$@#$ trick you could do, Keep the backlight on, check off the check mark under connections for USB, Tried 3 different cables.

ITS ALL THE SAME BS!!!!!

I'm done!

that's bad to hear that... well at least you got it out of your system and should feel a bit better...

did you try formating your phone? it could be a driver issue in the phone?

i have to reset mine every 2 days or sometimes less. one day my phone chirped and said i had a missed call....then after a reset it worked fine. my treo i only did resets once a week maybe

not soft rest.. try hard rest... power button+send+end and press the rest button...

I'm sorry to hear that, man. I actually have had an awesome time with mine... I have no idea why you're having such a bad time with yours... the only thing I can suggest is to try to use a powered USB 2.0 hub

Well, if you give up on the touch, you should try a palm. I use a centro as my backup phone and i must say, this little bugger is solid as a rock, no dropped calls, and very quick UI (though outdated). as much as I love my touch, the centro blows it away for its ease of use and phone function. my only complaints about the phone is its cheezy plastic stylus and slick case (very slippery with sweaty hands)

This is advice everyone should heed.

I flashed to Derek's WM6.1 ROM and haven't had to reset for days now. It's stable and fantastic. I'm still going to hold off on updating to Rev A / GPS but in general, I've had nothing but great experience with this phone.

Sorry things have gone sour for you.

You don't have to press the power button to hard reset. Just send+end then soft reset. Basically what you said minus the power button

well, im just guessing here, but you probably have a bootleg copy of all those operating systems you mentioned. dont get me wrong, i dont think i've ever had a legal copy of xp lol, but there are alot of crappy copies of xp out there. try to find a good one if thats what your doing, if not, then pretend like i didnt say anything.

You may have a bum phone. I had to swap two out before things got good. I have had no problems whatsoever since then.
