I sure hope so. This was a replacement so in about 5 mins I'm going up to the same sprint store I got the replacement from and seeing what I can do.

That in itself is not a problem at least not generally, this is the first download mode i've heard of since the 2.31 came out (and there have been more than 1500 downloads of it). Download mode has to do with the radio flashes erroring or their compatibility with the SPL sometimes. I'm waiting to hear more from dharvey, but i suspect this was a radio issue as well.

All is good my friends. I got a new phone immediately. Again, I got for free.

Time to, more carefully, attempt the upgrade again.

Gee what'd ya tell them? I'm about to use my upgrade for a Touch, plan on flashing it the day I get it activated and hope beyond all hope I don't brick it.

I simply told them that I kept it on th charger over night since it was almost 9pm when I got it and then went to work and was texting and calling like normal and it died and then it just wouldn't ever come back on no matter what I tried. They tried everything they knew to try and they had no luck so they just replaced it. It also helped that I only had the device less than 2 days.

Hey, can you please list all the steps you took with your other vogue? I sent you a PM askin, but i really don't think it had anything to do with the 0.40 SPL since almost everyone here had that already.
