I have a brick...

Well I just realized that it is NOT safe to flash from the .40.coke unlocker to the 2.31.coke unlocker. It has left me with a phone which I just got yesterday that will not power on, even to get to bootloader.

I was upgrading to the Alltel ROM and it was about 8% through the first part of the upgrade, it stopped and gave me a communication error and now will not come back to life at all.

I believe it is the end for me, at least for now.

No it seems that no matter what I do it will not even come back on, not even into bootloader. I know it isn't my battery as it was more than 70% charged when I started.

That sucks man. I'm sorry to hear that!

I've been thinking of sticking to the kitchen for a little while longer. All these ruu updates get me kinda worried and I haven't given the kitchen enough quality time lol

Here's a good summary thread on download mode, its about titan, but i have a vogue and titan in this mode now from similar things. If the radio gets messed up this happens.

Hmm... I wonder if there is such thing as a JTAG board for the pocket pc phone. I know that sometimes the only way to recover a brick router is through a jtag interface. Since there are enough elite folk working on this long enough perhaps there need to be a more reliable way to unbrick the phone.

Anyway sorry to hear that dharvey and icokeman too. I am sadden to see that the a few of the masters got burned for us :(

I am so terribly sorry to hear about your Touch bricking on you. I hope you'll figure out some way to fix it.

With all the tech wizards on this board, is there nobody who can fix it, as long as you send it to them?
