The same thing happened with the mogul.

Well, has anyone tried to look into the mogul files and see what is missing. (drivers, reg entries, startup apps, etc.)

I thought the dll's and reg entries did come from the Mogul.

I think the big difference is that the Touch is not yet using aGps. With the Mogul and gmaps, it would very quickly find the approximate area, but take a while to get a true lock. With the Touch, you can completely delete the agps entries out of the registry, and it makes not one bit of difference!

You're at zero degrees latitude and zero degrees longitude. It defaults there.

Yeah, it was like this is with hacked mogul...when the official rom came out it was CRAZY fast and accurate...so uh be happy that it works sometimes; and rejoice when the official ROM is released.

Well, I think these are the same files that were used with the hacked Mogul prior to the official release. NOT files that were pulled from the official release after it was working stable. I could be wrong though.

although its not with a phone, in guitar hero III, it shows in in brazil instead of california :P
