Sprint Touch Clone?

Is it possile? Have you all ever heard of a successful clone? I know the 6700 has a kit to do this and it works, and I do know it can be done on the Mogul but I have never found the kit. So now I am wondering about the Touch? Just curiosity. Hopefully it does not kill the cat.

Wow... very nice. Now the next question is .. can Sprint find out your using a clone?

yes they can if both phones are on at the same time. i would not suggest to do it unless the phone ur using the esn from is totally demolished

what if the phone is not used at the same time but used in different locations, like 30 miles away and calls are made within 5 minute time span. I was hoping to clone it and have on touch for internet use only and no voice service. Only issue is the extra phone i have was reported lost. So i wish to clone this lost phone to my existing working legit phone. Also.. i would imagine using the data service at the same time would give the gig up right? Thxs for the info.. i al really considering doing this to have a extra phone for personal use only and not to sell.

No you can't do anything at the same time, no voice, no data, etc. If you turn both phones on at the same time, Sprint will pick that up and flag your account. Its advised to take the battery out of whichever phone you're not using. BUT NEVER EVER TURN THEM ON AT THE SAME TIME

Of course. Sprint is a nationwide network so they'd pick up on it anywhere, no matter how far apart. I've heard its illegal but

only if u get caught. Really though, if you're planning on doing it, read up on it first and find out everything about it, including the possible consequences

one more question, once the phone is cloned , can sprint get a clue about the clone thru some other number? like when you call out or connect to data and their system picks up another serial number?

No. When you clone your ESN to another active phone (I.E. a Samsung M510), you have to use that exact same ESN as the Samsung, and the same phone number and msid. So when you're using the clone (The touch), it shows up to Sprint that you're using the Samsung so there's no serial number or ESN for them to pick up on
