ok harvey, i dialed ##775# & ##778# and it just says cannot be dialed. but i did find my prl on the device info on the main dialer screen.

if i dial *228 will it change it!? cant find a definitive way to change it otherwise! and would my prl affect me not getting a gps signal anymore? i dont mean to hijack this thread into a "how to prl for rok" either
just frustrating and i get kinda consumed by this type of thing until its fixed!

Normally ePST will appear after dialing the last pound in Sprints ## codes. If you are using the Alltel Rom or JD's generic GPS test rom then it will not work (Yet).

The best way is to find a speedtest that allows you to benchmark the upload bandwidth. Theres nothing that the phone displays (That I know of) that will tell you if its Rev A or not like aircard connection managers typically do.

I flashed to Alltel's ROM again last night and was pulling download speeds over 400kbps and upload speeds just over 100kbps but I think that is just EVDO speeds, still faster than 1X but not quite Rev A speeds. Now at 2pm I am pulling 100-200kbps download again.

EDIT:: Just as an announcement to everyone here, My phone has been bouncing back and forth from EVDO and 1X and is not really locking onto EVDO. Maybe this is what is causing my lack of Rev A speeds? I know it's not a reception issue because I always have a great signal on EVDO before upgrading to this Radio.

Does anyone on these forums live in the Kansas City Area?

im trying to flash back to verizons stock rom, but i only have a 8gb sdhc card and im reading everywhere that you can only use a 512-2gb sd! anyone know how to flash without a memcard!!?!?

Um are you serious? lol jk.
Use the old unlocker to restore the temporary SPL and then flash the Verizon OEM 6.0 ROM.

thanks for the tip harvey! im thinking if i can flash back to verizon's rom then maybe flash back to alltel with a few calls to verizon in between, i can get rev.a again! i got a small 5min taste and now i know rev.0 aint sh*t and i want it back! lol!
