The only thing driving me crazy is finding an OEM for the Touch Keyboard and Keypad that works like the original I had in the Bell rom. I have included one from OMJ but it only works for some functions and it doesn't have the slick Prediction box.
Is there any progress from the kitchen creators getting it incorporated into the kitchen as was mentioned earlier?

Thanks for the file. Unfortunatly it's the same as the others I've tried. It's full Qwerty on today screen Live Search. And although it works properly in Notes, txt msgs, etc (2-3 chars/key), it has the big ugly prediction box.
Weird thing is if you look at the files in the OEM it does have the smaller black prediction box.

Yeah... all my OEMs I have tried have that smaller box picture and still use the ugly box.

There is a way to turn off xt9 predictive text. Is that what u want? That will get rid of that black box all together...

I think we are wanting to get the black box for the xt9 instead of the ugly white box that we are getting.

No, I do use the predictive text. I can live with the ugly box. What I'm looking for is the 2-3 characters per key w/predictive text. All the cabs I've tried work to some extent, eg Notes and text msgs, but for Live Search and Messenger the Keyboard reverts to full qwerty.
Guess I'll wait and see what the Master Chefs are putting together for the next kitchen update.
Worst case I can use an older kitchen and use someone elses rom for the base, already done actually. I just would rather cook with the new kitchen, it's so freakin cool.

I have used this oem before when I built my own rom it did not have the big white box. Maybe some files are getting overridden, I will try it with the kitchen and see what happens.
