this is probably a dumb question but have there been any recent updates to this yet? its so hard to type on that landscape keyboard

no updates that would give an non-landscaped keyboard. in the meantime download chomp (sms) and steel (browser) both have keyboards built in. hope this helps

You need to calibrate your keyboard. From the main menu, press the camera button to bring up the keyboard. Then hold down the "End" key while tapping the top right and bottom left of your phone's screen several times, then exit back out of the menu that comes up to shut down your phone. Boom, calibrated keyboard.

anything to do with my ringtones all the sudden wont work.if i go try to change the ringtone from settings it will force close. can someone shed some lighthon this?

After tinkering with this a bit my phone became VERY unstable. I lost phone functions, and the touch screen only worked after tapping on it 5 or 6 times. This occurred AFTER a couple of hard resets. I am using a STOCk USCC rom with WM6.1, radio 3.42.30. This is really to bad as it is an AWESOME bit of work. Many thanks for all the hard work. Keep working at it. I would also suggest a NEW thread for this. It took me 3 days to get thru it all lol.

thanx for your reply i have been trying to get chompsms my market place on phone isnt working it comes up with a force close thingy.... is there anyway you could post links for me to download those from pc then copy the apk file over?

I've downloaded and put all of the files into a folder namd "Android" on the root of my storage card. However when i click on the .exe to run the file i get a notice saying that i need to set my stating RAM. Even with the cab installation on My HTC Phone I get the same error.

if i'm not mistaken, you must put a folder in the root of the DEVICE called Android. Everything except the data file and system file must go there. put the data and system file in the root of the sd card, not in a folder. Then go to the Android folder on the root of the device and run haret.exe... first boot takes a while, but after that its pretty quick.

i dunno if instructions have changed for booting but this is how it was about a month ago for me.
