Maximum Micro SD size for touch

I know the book says 4gb for nicro sd card but I also know there are bigger cards out there.

My question is do the 12gb cards work with the touch? How bout the 8gb? The 12gb is still pretty pricy so I my just go with the 8gb but wanted to make sure it will work with the touch.

Im using an 8GB card and it works perfectly. Have music, games, and applications and still have couple gig's free.

Great buy for only 50 bucks.

Txs, what brand is it sdhc, did you have to change anything on the touch, and where you buy it?

I spent this morning reading the various threads I found here and at XDA using search term "microsd". From these threads, I've concluded that 6GB and 8GB SDHC microSD are ok to use (did not see anyone using anything above 8GB). Various brands have been reported to work ok.

The generic search term also brought up the many corrupted memory card threads which scares me

I've been using this exact memory card in my digital camera with no problems for the past 6 months or so.

BTW, make sure you buy a micro SDHC memory card. Not the full size one like the one you have linked.

I have a 4GB SD (not SDHC) card from Transcend that I've been using in my Treo700wx for about a year without any issues.

I bought mine from dz-tech from ebay for 50 dollars. Mine worked like a charm...HOWEVER I am 99.9% sure it is a Chinese knock off, so you get what you pay for. Im cheap and it works so im happy.

the original SD that came with the phone on the left and the one that I bought on the right. Even the plastic feels cheap.

Yeah sorry, I'm sure I would've noticed b4 I bought it... Well pretty sure
