I spent this morning reading the various threads I found here and at XDA using search term "microsd". From these threads, I've concluded that 6GB and 8GB SDHC microSD are ok to use (did not see anyone using anything above 8GB). Various brands have been reported to work ok.
The generic search term also brought up the many corrupted memory card threads which scares me
