i was trying to figure this out just briefly, and i will tell you that the problem could be on the sprint side not sending the updated count.. the reason i say this is if you look at:
HKCU\System\State\Messages\vmail\total\Unread you'll see it only shows 1 for Count.. no hack or program will fix the problem. like i said i think it's sprint at fault for not sending a ping to the phone each time a new mail is left. there is the small possibility i could be wrong.. Correct. Devices on the Sprint network will show 1 voicemail regardless of the actual amount you have.

I thought this was true of all CDMA carriers? Do you get an accurate voicemail count with Verizon?

so they way i feel about it is... it doesn't matter how many my phone says i have because if i have 1 i am going to call and check my voice mail, so if i have more i will find out quickly. plus i usually only have one any way because i delete every message right after i listen to it anyway...

It is not window mobile because my wifes non windows sprint phone (Sanyo SCP8400)does same thing. I had call sprint about that before. I was told it defaults a 1 call and you have to check and clear calls to see how many calls in phone. Thats just the way sprint has it set up. Nextel was the same way when I was with them.
