You won't notice anything different about performance unless you are running more than just 1 or 2 small apps (why? because pagepool is used when switching between apps). Performance numbers won't mean a thing unless you also list the phones built in software and what you did on your phone to measure performance. Obviously, any testing would have to occur immediately following a hard reset to be meaningful.

As a general rule, more is better.
That's just it - I run alot more apps then the average joe..

On a typical day I have open spb mobile shell, octrochat, opera, email, coreplayer or slingplayer w/ stereo bluetooth headset, sometimes gps w/ tomtom and google map (google map for traffic), newsbreak, etc.. definately no complaints about performance w/ pagepool = 0....

I'm actually running the alltel rom right now which has the pagepool set to 12.. might be that it's wm6.0 vs. the 61 i'm used to, but it feels sluggish in comparison, even after cache memory/etc tweaks. (running the exact same software as I had on wm61 w/ pagepool=0..)
