I got my 1400 battery from ebay

I received it two days ago, I got 2 of the them for 14 bucks shipped or you could get one for 10 bucks shipped.

I thought what the hell and got the two.

and BOY AM I GLAD!! its a little thicker than the stock battery but I wasn't to sure if it would really be any better, and I couldn't of been more wrong.

Its definitely a night and day difference, I am on my phone an average of 5 hours a day, I have about 4-6 appointments every day and email about 20 people, let alone text, gps and internet. So you can only assume how much I have to charge this phone..

My day usually starts off with an hour phone call on the way to work, then when I leave work about 30 minutes later I am on the GPS and charger, by then I am usually at 50-60%

I was shocked to see it still at 80%
I have no true numbers only by feel, but I am positive this battery is lasting loner.

I got the Japan battery

I actually bought the same thing first of Feb from the same guy. Shipping took a little bit longer, but considering it was shipped from Hong Kong, it really wasn't bad (it was about 2 weeks from payment) I am seeing a little bit of increase too, not huge, but better. i just like having the extra one ready to go.

I bought a pair of the same batteries from that same seller at the end of January. It's a small improvement in battery life. It's more worth it for the fact that I now have 3 batteries for my Touch. I also bought one of those desktop chargers with a slot for an extra battery definitely worth the $35 everything cost me.

How safe are these...really? Plus, do they even retain charge after a month of use?

Mine still hold the same charge and they haven't gotten any warmer than my stock battery. In fact I don't even remember them getting warm at all. But who knows you do get what you pay for.

do they fit with the stock cover or do you need a new one?

Also... I want to make sure that these don't cause battery fires!

They are Li Ion after all

The seller also has a 2200 battery listed in his store.Anybody tried it ? does it fit with the stock cover.
