I guess I misinterpreted your statement. But it does read "you can't use a motorola charger on an htc devices and vice versa" I took that to mean any charging device motorola offers would not work with an HTC device. And yes your experience I am sure is valid, just as my Motorola portable charger working with my Touch is true. I did not mean to come off calling you a liar, and apologize if that is what it sounded like. I just know that every single USB charger / cable I have access to charges the phone.

its all good, maybe i wasnt as specific as i thought now that i look back but i do remember jus about all the motorola chargers that i myself had played around with in the sprint store (while working there), none worked on the touch or mogul.. once i pulled out the UC starcom chargers they were fine... then i plugged up a razor to it along with the Q and other motorola devices that take usb.. and no luck.. strange because if you hook them up to a computer they all charge regardless of the maker.. who knows that the phenomena is all about..

so what makes it any different if you use a plain old usb cord attached to your computer to charge your device. it doens't matter what device it is if it has a usb port on it. its going to work and its going to charge it. there is no difference in the type of usb cord they make to attach to your computer. it uses 5 volts to charge so i dunno what you think it any different about the motorola charger.

Well I know there are voltage differences between different brands of usb chargers. However every one I've tried charges my titan, however they do not all charge my wifes krazer - it pops up saying 'non-authorized charger' or something. Yet even then w/ some it will charge....
I have charged my titan (sucessfully) w/ the following;
stock charger
stock vehicle charger
krazer charger
krazer vehicle charger
USB port
motorola bt headset charger (weakest but it works)
MIO gps charger
my titan is a power whore....

look, rookie.. before you post something how about doing some homework or a little research yourself.. IT DOES MATTER, not EVERY usb charger is going to work

Not a true statement. I have 4 RAZR chargers and NONE of them have worked with any other device other then a RAZR. Even the Motorola Q will not charge off of one of these chargers.

Also, my Motorola Q will not charge on the charger for my Vogue. I am not sure if this is something Motorola does to make you purchase a new charger for your Motorola devices or not.

However my Motorola Car Adapter has worked fine for all my phones.

I use my usb cable from my 6700 to charge my extra ps3 controller....Since sony makes you drop $50 for the six axis controller and doesnt even included an extra cable to charge it...
(But at that price I think twice about breaking them)

Just a side note...since people were saying all the different stuff it works for..

Now that I think about it I charge my motorola BT headset with the same cord..

How about if you have a usb jack in your stereo. Thats what I use
