Re: Introducing MacFlo & MacFlo Big Button!

First let me say I am very impressed with what I've seen this skin is capable of. I can't wait to get it working! Now....

OK.. so here's where I'm at. I've been trying to get this to work for a couple of days now. I'm on JD's super lite Rev A rom so I'm using the Alltell version of MacFlo. Unfortunately, JD's superlite does not come with the cube. So I thought I would be able to just take the APLauncher, MediaHub and QD apps from my original sprint rom, but then I thought they may not work with the Alltell rom (verification and signing?).

I tried installing the HTCCube.cab file I found from another forum (I think it was actually for the Mogul), but that didn't seem to work very well for a base for MacFlo.

A little more detail as to what is not working; when I swipe up, the screen darkens and locks, continues to show the today screen. Sometimes swiping down will brighten the screen back up and unlock the screen.. but sometimes I have to hit the 'End' button to close out of the APLauncher app. Also, with the MacFlo Maker, none of the icons would show up in the preview of the slabs, but they were in the correct folders.

Any suggestions on how to get MacFlo working on Alltell roms that do not have the original cube loaded?

Thanks for your time, look forward to getting this working!

Re: Introducing MacFlo & MacFlo Big Button!

There is a known issue with MacFlo Maker and the new ROMs. I tried to fix it with the Alltel version, but I messed up on the first two sides. I've got a fix for the Supernova version, but I want to wait until I've got the regular version fixed before I put them out. Should be done by tonight (yeah, I know I said yesterday, but I just bought a house and Tuesday was really busy). Tonight. Fix. Promise.

Well, if not a house, maybe a six pack. Ah, who are we kidding...Donations don't make up as much as most people would hope.

I do need to donate though...you've made some really nice stuff.

Is that other program of yours still in the works?

Re: Introducing MacFlo & MacFlo Big Button!

Alright, fixed versions are up. If you are having problems please re-download. If you are installing over the previous Alltel version there should be no need to un-install. This will erase any customizations you may have made.

It is. I am getting pretty excited about it. Functionality is 95% there. Now I'm working on the graphics. Interface is pretty simple, as is functionality, but you will be able to assign 24 different program buttons, 18 different contact buttons, and 15 favorite buttons. And for those who like that kind of stuff, you tap and hold on the buttons, then they shake. Then you can edit them. What can I say? Some of the iPhone stuff is just cool.

Re: Introducing MacFlo & MacFlo Big Button!

Hello I was using the MacFloBigbutton on an Alltel version of rom and I loved it so when I upgraded to the new sprint leaked rom I loaded the MacFloBigbutton and it didn't work right, I then tried the SuperNova version and i got the same results. I think the problem is well know from the little I read, first 2 pages show up as a grey film and the last 3 work fine. Am I missing something or are none of the 6 sided cubes working right now on this rom. By the way I really loved the big button version, hold the phone with one hand and have access to all the programs, webpages and contacts with yor thumb, now that is great.

Ok I downloaded 2 files from the link for the MacFlo........Alltell.zip Dated 5/15/08. are these the files that will work with the new Sprint rom, OMJ's version 2 to be more specific, I loaded and started configuring the vista version of the cube since it has 6 working sides, so if you can reassure me that they work I will remove the vista version and load 1 of your new ones, 1 question tho, the MacFloBBsupernova, does BB stand for big button.

OK just like you said they work, tried on my wifes phone first, I just find the Alltel in the name confusing since the new rom we are using is Sprint

Thanks Musicman247

P.S. The vista version is very user friendly but lacks the flash the MacFlo, and I do love taking my phone to work and showing a few other stock OS Vouge owners the bells and whistles. Man I love this phone\HTC, I have 3 different versions of HTC phones and all are really good products and have trouble understanding why Rim stock is worth so much, and with Google adopting HTC for there new linux OS(Rumor) things can only get better for HTC owners I think. Just my 2 cents, hehehe
