Re: Introducing MacFlo & MacFlo Big Button!

armus, could you uninstall MacFlo and post your registry (only Biotouch parts)?

Re: Introducing MacFlo & MacFlo Big Button!

Alright, I'll get on it as soon as I get to a PC. The Mac I'm on doesn't open .reg files.

Re: Introducing MacFlo & MacFlo Big Button!

Well, it looks like the changes are in the Biotouch Programs themselves.

These are the values of the new ROM:
"APLauncher"="2.0.29077"
"RandomAccess"="09072007 V4.0"
"QuickDial"="2.5.28927"
"BioTouch Ver"="2.0.29087"
"MediaHubMini"="2.0.29077"

Compared to the version I have:
APLauncher"="2.0.28498"
"RandomAccess"="08312007 V4.0"
"BioTouch Ver"="2.0.28554"
"MediaHubMini"="2.0.28554"

So HTC made changes to the programs themselves and how they handle data from the Registry. The only way to fix it would be to load up the older versions of the programs.

Re: Introducing MacFlo & MacFlo Big Button!

i.e. Alltel folks are screwed for the time being. I appreciate you looking at this. I've got another post on the update forum to tell folks Alltel's response to my request for support earlier today. it was funny!

Re: Introducing MacFlo & MacFlo Big Button!

The BigButton is absolutely fantastic and gorgeous!! I got every button to work finally. Even Youtube works now. I'm so happy. Lots of great functionalities with great designs. Can't imagine if this is your full time job, what would you be able to create. Only one minor thing that I encountered is in the MacFlo Maker. Sometimes after I called it up for once or twice to see or change some buttons, next time I tried to call it up, it just didn't come up. So, I'd have to soft reset and it will work again. Not a big deal. But thank you so much for your effort and sharing. Wonderful contribution MusicMan247.

Re: Introducing MacFlo & MacFlo Big Button!

Hi MM247,

Thanks for updating this... i just noticed a bug (not your fault) if you try to set your shortcuts to dial a contact. The shortcut calls out a MakePhoneCall program that isn't present in the Alltel release. No biggie, I just grabbed it from my friends WM6.0 phone and threw it in my windows dir and it works.

Agreed. MacFlo was working perfectly on xv6900 until I updated with the new alltel (gps/rev.a) rom.
