Storage card gone!

I started one of the threads about the storage card corruption and I've determined that WMP is at fault mostly for me. Basically, if I'm listening to music and then pause it for an extended time and the phone goes to sleep, it corrupts my card. Usually a soft reset fixes the problem but not always. It gets really annoying having to soft reset the phone all the time but it is better than having to load the card all the time.

My storage card has nothing to do with WMP. I never use it and it gets corrupted several times a week it seems lately. I have called Sprint several times and they always say it is not a known issue. I advise them to do a google search and pull their heads out of..the ground.
The more people that report it, the faster our resolution time will be.

I've had my HTC touch for about 5 months now and i had never had any probs. with it until tonight.
I was on it browsing some stuff....then when i went to my Photos all my pictures that were stored in the Storage card were GONE and all the videos that were stored on the Storage card were gone too..i've only got the pics that i had stored on the phone and the demo video left.
But the weird thing is that all the music i had uploaded to my storage card are still there its just that the photos and videos have vanished...can someone help me outtttt PLEASEEE

And I recently downloaded the Vtap program to be able to watch videos ..its like youtube...could it be from that??

I checked my storage card on the pc and there are few files in that folder called : Storage Card.cache , Album.cache , Albumn.cache ... does anyone have any ideas whats going on ?
I've been looking all over for an answer :[

Still a big coincidence that after I spend 2 hours fiddling with the bluetooth settings and registry for the first time my card becomes corrupt....

It was only the stock 512 with 2 songs on it so no big loss, this just forces me to buy the 2gb card which I've been meaning to do for a while now.

The same thing happened to me after exchanging files with a friend via Bluetooth, since then my card is invisible in both my phone or in my laptop.

I ordered another one from the web and will see if this one is visible.

Maybe bluetooth as something to do will all the card problems...

I can make this happen pretty reliably two ways:

1.) Turn on Bluetooth explorer
2.) In exchange, select "Save attachments to storage card"

Eventually, (day or two max) some or all files will be gone
