Well does anyone NOT have this issue? lol...
When you say a command to MSVC and it confirms what you said, can you hear the confirmation? |

Everyone is having these problems with the touch. I have tried many thing to fix, and at this point can only hope for a updated Touch rom to fix the problem, or an update of the Voice Command program. I have heard rumors of a 1.7 version in the works.

The Mogul and Touch have EXACTLY all the same issues with voice command.
Low volume over headset and confirmation over the headset does not work. This problem is ONLY over the headset. So perhaps you were not using a headset on your mogul. The Patch only fixes announcements on both phones. Mogul never needed any patch to get voice command to "work" with BT headset. Shut your confirmation off in Voice Command (everyone does this for BOTH Mogul and Touch). I doubt HTC can fix this, it appears to be a Voice Command problem on this version of windows mobile and processor combination.

Please share your fix for the mogul voice command low volume over headset issue.
Your recent post is hard to understand. Voice Command works flawless (including confirmation and volume level) on my handset on both mogul and touch with no patches. Last edited by mswlogo; 01-07-2008 at 01:19 AM. |

You're able to get msvc voice dial confirmations to work on your Touch? As in You: "Call Dave Mobile" MSVC: "call dave mobile?" You: "correct" MSVC: starts to call Dave's cell# This has never work properly for me and many others. Please clarify. |

this is the headset fix i use for the mogul...
3 flies... 2 of which are fixes and 1 of which is an app that you should set to startup on boot... |

2 out of 3 of those patches were designed for the Apache (6700).
Since this problem didn't exist on the 6700 I find it hard to believe it fixed a problem it was not designed to fix on a phone it wasn't designed for. It's possible because it is trying to fiddle with the VC announce on the headset and remove the ring burried in there. But I think your playing with apples and oranges. You might try to locate the author and see what he has to say. |
