Just a caveat, these are files not meant to be on the Mogul. Use caution when using them. they could work, or they could break what you have. Try just the APLauncher.exe first. If that doesn't work, put the Biotouch.exe in there too.

Good luck!
ok, I should probably know this, but when I try to copy the file over it gives me an error saying either i don't have permission or that the file is in use. I'm assuming its in use, but not sure how to stop the process so i can replace the file.
how would i do this?

Ok, instead of replacing the files i just renamed the files to APLauncher1.exe and Biotouch1.exe. I replaced both of these files and it worked. You will need to replace both files and then do a soft reset I replaced the APLauncher.exe first and it fixed the functionality and the biotouch fixed the cube itself (if that makes sense). Anyways,I now have all four sides of the cube and it even seems like it is running faster than before. Looks like i still need to fix some of my links but that should be okay.

Thanks a lot.

How do we skin the Quick Dialer? I can find the registry settings for everything else but not the Dialer.

All of these are found in \Windows. I have not yet found the file (xml or otherwise) that determines where these images go (it might be the QuickDial.exe itself), so right now I can't move any of the buttons, just replace them.

Replace the files QD_Bknd.brn for the background and buttons when idle, and QD_2_Bknd.brn to replace the screen that shows when you are deleting a contact.

Replace QD_Defcon.png and QD_Defcon_HL.png to replace the shadow man.

QD_01_HL.png, QD_02_HL.png, QD_03_HL.png, and QD_04_HL.png are the buttons pressed along the bottom of the Quick Dial screen.

All of the buttons for the QuickDial screen are .png, so anything in the Windows dir with QD in front of it is part of the QuickDial screen.

Thanks for the information. I am now stuck. I cannot seem to overwrite the icons in the Windows directory (I have tried both Resco and Total Commander). Is there any chance of you releasing a version of iCube with just the app cube faces altered but leaving everything else the same as the stock cube? I love everything about the iCube except the Dialer - I HATE that Dialer skin on the iCube - I really like the stock Dialer skin.

Outstanding work on the iCube - once I get this Dialer thing licked I will be all set.

Thanks again for all your help and hard work for the community.

Soft reset would be required after putting those files in.

When bigknoxy reports back we'll see what we can do. No promises, though.

I use Total Commander ->http://www.ghisler.com/pocketpc.htm or you could use ActiveSync (think ActiveSync would work). But Total Commander is the best bet. It's a File Explorer that allows you to overwrite files.

Here's a direct link to the CAB -> http://ghisler.fileburst.com/ce/tcmdpocketarm.cab

Awesome news, bigknoxy! Could you post a link to the cube you installed on your Mogul so that we can post instructions and a new CAB for Mogul users?

I believe these files (with the addition of the latest iCube release of course) is all that you need to get a working cube on your mogul.

One thing I have noticed is that while sides 1, 2, and 3 work fine, side four displays fine but I don't think is launching any apps when i press on a button, what i'm saying is that side appears fine but doesn't actually do anything on press... any ideas?

thanks for all the help so far.
