Vista Cube

This Cube's for the SPRINT TOUCH ONLY.

I finished up my Vista Cube Set and made a CAB file for it too. It set's
the reg entries and copies the files for you. As you can see this is a full
cube skin, not just icons. The icons have a 3D effect when you press them.

If you have problems with Live Search you need to update it. Go to this
address with your device's IE.

http://ls.windowsmobile.com/

Vista Cube with Live Search, Iexplore, Comm Manager, Windows Live
Messenger, Tasks and Outlook Email. Download
VistaCubeWith_Live_IE_Comm_MSN_Tasks_Outlook.zip

Here's the 6 sided Vista Cube. This cube set was designed to be generic as
possible so you can add your own icon with out them looking out of place.
All the Application and Media sides can be configured with the new version of
Cube Configuration Tool by thisguyinoc. Thanks to Musicman for his help in
figuring out how to setup multiple APLaunchers.

This install will not change your current icons or applications that you have
configured unless you are currently using one of my previous Vista Cubes.
So, what ever your icons are now is what will be used. This goes
for both the 3-App side and the 6-App side applications. You will need to use the
Cube Configuration Tool or edit the registry to change the 3 new sides right now
they are blank.
VistaCubeDefaults6Sides.zip

Just download and unzip one of these attached files or the links I provided
above, copy the CAB file to your Sprint Touch and run it. The Cab is
uninstallable, so if you don't like, just uninstall. More Combinations to come.

I made some icon packs too. Go to this post here.

Yes, just don't change the icons locations on the cube. The backgound color of the default cube icons from HTC are lite at the top and darker as you go down, so if you move the icons the shading will be off.

Talking Absolutely Lovin' It...

....first off, this forum of users are amazing to me! Thus far since joining this site, I have loved everything I have been reading and watching as everything develops. Just wish I was smart enough or capable to do ALL of the work to install it myself.

I have installed the Vista Cube without a problem and seriously LOVE the change with the icons, color and where the apps point.

HOWEVER, I wish I could install the 4-sided Vista Cube and make the registry changes to put in the apps I would like to run from the 4th side but I have no faith in what I would be getting into.

Polen if your listening....,

If at all possible...would it be possible to create a .CAB file for "tha newbie" for a 4-sided Vista Cube (With the 3 sided apps all the same you originally created) with the Transformers Cube in your earlier post with the following 6 apps?
1.) Sprint Music Store
2.) File Explorer
3.) Text Messaging or Messaging
4.) On Demand
5.) Yahoo Go! or Games (if yahoo go won't work)
6.) Contacts or Phone

I would so appreciate anything you would, can or may do for me.

Nonetheless, each and everyone of you have created a new love for my Sprint Touch I never knew I could have....lol. Great JOB!!!

Thanks for the compliments and welcome to the forums.

I don't have any plans to modify this current cube, but I am working on a new Vista Cube that uses the idea of Musicman and Zyphlin's iCube with 4x3 APLaunchers(12 icons per side). I like having many applications on the cube, but 6 sides is to many turns to get to your application. I am also removing the Media Hub side, IMO this side is a waste of space. I could probably work some of your request into it, we'll see.

I love the idea!!! I too want more apps and think the size of each application is overkill. Will it be possible for this new 12 app cube to use the existing Icons and scale them down, or will all new icons have to be created?

Thanks for all of your hard work. I am using your keyboard, dialer, and of course the 6 sided cube.

Preconfigured 4 and 6 side cubes

It would be nice to also have the four and six sided cubes posted configured like the original cube was with just the new sides blank. I like the way you had that one set up and it is definitely a pain to redo up all the icons. Just a thought...
