issue with my xv6900

I have a HTC XV6900. When I silence my phone and set my alarm, the phone tells me: "alarm will not soun until the volum is turned up in the sounds and notifications setting" When I look for the area to increase the volume on my phone, I can't find where to turn up the volume. Yeah, and it doesn't help that MS provides a bum steer. I've found something that works on my Sprint Vogues. It'll probably work on your Vogue too. Posted here:
