shortcut go straight to writing sms
anyone know the shortcut under \Windows that take you to writing sms, i got it work on the mogul but not on the touch.thanks

You will need to create your own shortcut. The path would be \Windows\tmail.exe -service "SMS -new" I think. I will check again on this later.

How and What?
Hi there, I'm really new to the whole PPC scene, I just got my Touch and I'm loving it. One thing I would like to do is exactly as you described, but I am kind of lost one where to do it and what to do with it.
Do I use active sync to create the shortcut? And after I create the shortcut where do I put it? Finally, what do I do with it on the actual device, would I be able to add it as a Launcher app, configure it as a softkey (btw, how do I configure the softkeys?) Thanks mucho. |

I can see why people would want this... but could I suggest...
just get into the habit of going to contacts first and find who you are looking for and then either clicking and going in to the contacts menu or tap and hold and select send text message. The reason I suggest that is the New SMS message form won't have the TO: field filled in so you have to go search through contacts anyways!

You could probably use this tool to make your short cut.
But you may want to do some reading on it to get the idea on how to use it..
