Could someone please try this? It worked for me with my Mogul. I'm not around my charger, otherwise I'd try it.
1) Press the power button to wake up the device. 2) Plug device into power adapter. 3) Wait until the device recognizes it's plugged in. 4) Press the power button to put the device to sleep. 5) Wait for alarm or phone call/txt message I had been doing this with my Mogul and it's worked fine. I haven't noticed anything wrong with the Touch yet, but I've been having issues with Sprint the past couple of days. Let us know if this works.

More news!!!.....
After calling sprint tech support talking to them.... Being escalated to high level support being told there are no known issues and that I should take it to a repair center, repair center saying my phone is fine but I could exchange it since I was under my 30 days. I called HTC.......... Are you ready for this!!! HTC told me that all of their phones are set to stop waking to ring once the battery is less than 30% in an effort to conserve power! I did also tell him that once this issue starts if I soft reset the phone it will start to ring again....... He said it could be a bug in the rom and sent it up to the software techs..... Can anyone else confirm with their 100% stock phone that after the battery reaches 30% it stops waking to ring? I did a hard reset this morning and sure enough once the battery got lower it stopped ringing.... I think it's insane they would make a phone that would stop ringing when there is 30% left of battery.... 10% maybe....... but 30%!?!?! Again this is not an issue with the phone "locking" up but not ringing when the battery is less than 30% |

Cool, I rarely let my phone go below 30%. I have chargers everywhere
![]() Good find and thanks !!! Known issues are so much better than mysteries. I wonder if the trigger point is in the registry. |

Mine did this for the first time this morning. Was waiting on a call around 630am, never came. Picked up my phone and hit the power button. The clock said 410am (then a few seconds later, jumped up to 701am [which was what time it was]), then I got a missed call notification, and voicemail (missed call said it came in at 430am, even though it really came in about 630 as it should have).
Haven't had the problem since, and I hope I don't again. |

What I am wondering is why other people aren't complaining (both on this forum and to Sprint).... I don't think I have a defective phone (let alone two of them, both me and my wife)..... Sprint is telling me I can do a 30 day exchange, the HTC CS rep is telling me this is how they make the phone to stop ringing below 30% battery. I do only have this issue when battery drops below 30% for sure and only then. I did some testing today, let the battery get low, call myself and the phone didn't ring.... Then I pluged in the charger for no more than 10 sec and it woke up and rang perfectly.... Removed the charger called again and it didn't ring.... Then I soft reset and it it rang fine until the phone completely died..... I wish I could get a definite answer as to why it's doing this.... HTC claimed it's a feature, I feel like it's a "bug" and I wonder if me and my wife just have a bad batch of touches..... If every touch stops ringing below 30% battery life then I would think there would be more people upset and calling sprint....
