I can see how the average user could care less. With that said, it is essential to me. I need to be able to log on to a terminal server in my office from wherever I might be at any given moment.

I found this over at xda-developers, and I don't know if this guy is onto something or not? If so, maybe someone can help him out. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=345174

No, I don't miss the wifi.

I get around 700-1100kbps on Sprint around here... so I don't even worry about it.

I personally do not miss wifi. I had it with the 6700 and never really used it. I get pretty good evdo coverage in my area.

I never used wifi, and I have wifi all over my campus. The reason I prefer EVDO is because there are some spots of my campus where wifi will not work or will be weak. In cases like those, it's better to just rely on EVDO.

For me it really sux that the touch doesnt have wifi, No EVDO in my area and no idea on when it is going to be brought in, if ever. But I still prefer the touch over the mogul so i'll be keeping it. Also on my way back from a recent trip to San Diego i was still getting an EVDO sicnal up until about 40 miles out of town which had never happened before. Hopefully this means they are updating the towers in my area.

Well, if you are in Canada you most certainly would care, the very best data plan we have here is $100/Month for 1 GB the next best one is 60$ for 60MB. Currently my titan is on Tellus, with talk and email I get misc talk features and a measily 4MB/month internet, I can litterally use up my plan in about a 1-5 minutes. Wi-fi is a must here!

I have no idea how these comapanies can get away with the raping and pilaging they do to the mobile customers here in Canada, it makes me sick!

I wish it had WiFi for the simple fact that EVDO is not available in my area....at least until this spring.
