SprintTV on the Sprint HTC Touch Official Discussion Thread

It's mainly comedy central. Sometimes a different station will do it but a soft reset will fix that. I have hard reset my phone twice (for other issues) and comedy central has always been out of sync. I get hours of time that none of the stations will load. Sometimes I wonder why I am paying for this service when it doesn't work right.
I love how Sprint and HTC both know there is an issue with the video but still sell the service and devices to us anyway. Htc knows there is a problem with the video but where is the fix for it, why does any update or fix crawl to us. This is really poor support from both companies.

My Sprint TV was working on a few channels as I posted previously. Recently it stopped working, giving me the "Invalid User" complaint. So I uninstalled and reinstalled and now I just get that moving bars (loading) screen.

I have a different problem with my Sprint Touch SprintTV. It was working fine up till today. I had to do a hard reset this morning because of a few problems with another program. I installed the update cab for SprintTV. The SprintTV starts to load but I never get to the option to go to TV, Music, etc. It keeps having the yellow lines on the bottom, like the internet would do why you are waiting for the web page to load, but it never loads. I live in Connecticut. Is there a problem with SprintTV today or is there a problem with the program on the Touch? Please Help! Any advice would help.

I've had the invalid user and just tried again later. It's been working fine pretty much, though it seems to crap out of full screen mode often

I just got THREE of them - all three I cannot get the TV app to run - It downloaded the update.....but like you all I get is the open spash sscreen with the yellow dots going across....got Sprint Tech Support on the line....we reset one of the 3 and reinstalled....no change...Still got htem on the phone....will keep ya posted

theres a site call mobi tv it the same program sprint uses now on there cell it only 10 doallars a mth and it compatble wit alot of phone out there i got it aon my mogul and sprint does provde it lol.

Tech Support from Sprint called me today, and said that they finally fixed the problem of the moving bars (loading) screen. They said, it has never been a hardware problem, it is their network that was having problems negotiating with the Sprint TV on the Sprint Touch. She said they resolved this issue this morning and are trying to fix all the other little problems with the Touch. I tried the Sprint TV and it now works. You might need to reinstall Sprint TV first though, but try it first. If you uninstall then reinstall Sprint TV. Don't start it up. Shut down the phone, take out the battery for 5 to 10 minutes, then put it back in. Sprint TV should work after that. But try it first before reinstalling. I actually formatted my Touch first, then did all of this and it worked. Good luck.

This is going to sound dumb, but either try again in a couple of minutes, or soft reset. I get that every now and then, but it usually fixes itself.

tried that...and tried installing the update...says needs to take out old version...but then says cant take out old version...then says install unsucessful
