sorry if i offended you but i posted the cab yesterday and some people said that it wasn't the right one even tho it works just fine.

for those that's it's not working, i think you have to get the cache file as well, which is also uploaded in the sprint tv thread over at the ppc software forum (read page 43-47)

OK- I got my phone and it took a bit for sprint TV to start up (about an hour and a half.) It worked for a while, then I did a stupid thing-

It seems like it prompted me for an update when it first initiated the feature/ then I noticed TWO shortcuts for Sprint TV in my program files after my first use. Then I tried deleting one of the shortcuts through file explorer, Big mistake! because both shortcuts and program ended up dead. (I think I messed up here- maybe deleted the whole thing)

I thought I'de be safe, thinking I could just hard reset if anything went bad- this was not the case.

I didn't have a backup in there yet because someone was saying SPB backup didn't work on touch, and I hadn't even gotten that far yet, (having the phone only a couple hours in my hand)

Now It doesn't load up all the way. I did try to reload the cab file from the main windows directory, to no avail. (It semi-loads up, dials, and then- pow! no tv menu options (just blank)

I took it back to the store, the guy there was giving me a hard time for tweeking with it, but couldn't fix it. (he then said to box it up, and he'll give me a new touch

Anyone else got two shortcuts in the program menu? Has anyone hard reset and lost the tv function?

I'll research this helpful thread and see if I can get it to go, before I have to take it back. Thanks for the info, cab and all!

Yeah I got two shortcuts to Sprint Tv ... but I didnt delete one in fear of what happen to you ...

I'm sorry but there's no way that deleting a shortcut can cause that. I got 2 shortcuts too, one said SprintTV and the other one said Sprint TV (with a space).

After examining both shortcuts, they both pointed to the same EXE file, so I deleted the one with the space.

SprintTV works fine for me, just tested it.

ok when i first setup my phone sprint tv worked fine now its telling me i have to subscribe to the channels when i had them all free what the f*k

Do you have SprintTV in your plan. Mine does and I can see the channels and watch.
