I think that if someone wrote a legitimate piece of sw that did this sprint might turn it back on. Instead of trying to do it with hacks, why doesn't someone just write some simple code to send MMS.

I don't think it's that simple... if not it would have been done. Plus, why write an app like this if you don't even know where to point it to (servers). There's no guarantee that Sprint would do this, plus, there's nothing wrong with the hack itself, it just was not licensed to be used on Sprint devices, but the actual app has nothing wrong with it.

This sounds like a crock of BS. Why? I'm sure sprint would pay for the rights for the Arc software if it actually did work. It's not sprint's fault the customer cracked the arc program. I think it they closed it up to avoid charges from other carriers for cross-sending MMS messages. Also they might have changed the server and unknowningly messed up the compatability with the ARC software. Sprint has $$$ to fork over to Arc if it was a licensing issue. You have to think why didn't sprint implement the MMS in the first place? Its one less thing they have to worry about and have issues with.

It is not a liscensing issue with arcsoft. arcsoft stole the program from verizon, and thus it is illegal. Verizon is not likely to license it to Sprint hence the deactivation. It makes sense however there is no way to know if it is really the reason or not, nor does it matter. No matter the bitching it ain't comin back till sprint wants it to. Sorry

i have arcsoft mms on my 6900touch and on a 6800mogul and i have used it before on both phones and it has worked but know all of the sudden it is telling me message delivery failed or recipiant failed.......anyone know how to fix this thanks

read the title of the thread... it is no longer working as of 02/05 for sprint. they disabled it.

I could be wrong about this but if they change the code in the software its no longer the same program as verizon software. Its now a new software right? I mean dosent most companys do that today. Change little thing here and there to make it their product, so i dont see how it was copy right infringement.

I have tried the above methods, but still I get an errror message that says, "message delivery failed". Can anybody tell me if the server is still up and running? Thanks

As the title says, it is no longer working. Someone even said the same thing about 4 posts up.
