Here is the problem: Sprint has spiked the innerds of the HTC phones, so that some programs, not all, have lost their route to the internet to connect. I have turned off the phone connection and the data connection and I get the same error message. I don't know how they did it or even why. Maybe they didn't do it on purpose but I bought this phone knowing about the cab. I have approx 2 weeks left on my 30 days with Sprint. If this isn't sorted out, I guess I can turn it in and get the Verizon Touch some time in march.

I have never used this application, however, from what I've been reading all these years, the application itself is very fragile. It didn't work for everyone, then it stopped working, a workaround was found using the server IP instead of the address, etc.

If you solely rely on paying for this phone because this application exists, I would personally recommend you return it.

I just say it because it could end up in a big disappointment and frustration if it is discovered that this is not fixable.

Just in case, there's an alternative to send picture mail as attachments via a regular e-mail address (POP3, Exchange, etc.)

No I love the phone and have altered it extensively, but I like pic messaging and once you've had the convenience of taking sending the message immediately, you kinda like it. Some websites don't except pics sent via regular mail either.

The Verizon version is out soon and I can re install all my progs on it and have the 3G network in my area (Sprint currently does not offer it)

FINALLY, nothing irritates me more than paying for something that has capabilites limited for no real good reason other than financail benefit for the phone service. Kabeesh?

I have never used picture texts. However a friend told me that there is a guy that pulled out the Altel Touch Picture Mail from the Altel Touch and made it a CAB for Sprint Touch. He claims that it works.

I've installed and unistalled MMS cab several times, it install without a problem, I click okay to reboot, it lets me compose a pic message, I put in a pic, insert a 10 digit #, I click send and it starts to send, then I get "Message Delivery Failed. Or Message Receipt Failed." and I get the option of "Retry Now" or "Retry Later" any ideas on how I could over come this? thank you!
