I have HTC touch with Bell. I have downloaded all the file.
i just coudn't find any readme file for some basic instructions.
Can you please help me find instruction page or just guide me a bit.

So finally I installed WM6.5 in my HTC touch
2 problems...
· Camera didn’t work
· Weather didn’t work
· GPS is not working (GPS never worked on this phone so it is something else)

My steps were
1. Unlocked my HTC touch
2. Radio version 3.42.50 so i left it as is.
3. Ran the file ROMUpdateUtilty.exe and followed the instructions.
4. Copied my carried cab to your phone.

The files I used
· Vogue_unlocker_MFG_2.31.exe
· NagROM V3.13 Touch
· dcd_Bell_Carrier_20081031.cab
· Weather Fixes Touch.rar (there were 2 cab files... I ran both of them)

After installing wm6.5 and doing a hard reset.
Rom Ver 3.08.666.1
Radio ver 3.42.50

Guys please help me figure out 2 or 3 problems i have with my HTC.

If you followed ALL the instructions on the front page, everything should work fine (it does for everyone else). If it does not work for you. Reflash with a stock ROM and then try flashing mine again afterward.

You can get a stock ROM from in this forum. It's in the sticky section of the Vogue Upgrades I believe.

It seems the disappearing SMS bug still exists in the latest build (this was a Microsoft bug not anything with your ROM).

The problem is:
You get an SMS. If a reboot occurs after the SMS has been recieved, the new SMS has disappeared. It seems it takes at least 15-20 mintues before a new SMS will no long disappear. Does anyone know a fix for this?

ok Finaly i got the camera to work on my HTC.
Can some one please give me instructions on how to fix weather problme..
i have tried the files from 1st page.. i have spend about 5 hrs and can't get it to work.

What I meant was that the Manila messaging app does not work correctly, but the built in SMS app in WM works fine.

Just a question/heads up.

I have not released any of the new releases (i.e., 28004, 28005, 28008, 28009) as I have tested them all and found 0 documentable changes.

My question is, would you like them released (when I am able) for you to test, or would you rather keep your device as is until a release comes with a tangible change?

I'm waiting on my TP2 coming next week, so i'll be trying yr new roms for Tp2.
Just need to figure out how to unlock it first, since like it's more complicated, then Vogue.

Cool. The unlock should be almost exactly the same. You just flash the phone with the unlocker, just like flashing an already unlocked phone.

No, that is all optional. You can just unlock. Quick and easy. That's what I did. Unless you are planning on using AT&T or T-Mobile service with your Sprint phone, it is pointless to SIM unlock.

I use neu's battery tools and it does ALL of the battery tweaks in one app. But feel free to post the DLL. It may get used and be appreciated. Knowledge is power.

FYI, there are some bugs in 28008 and 9 that are big enough that I am not going to build ROMs for these builds. Hopefully they get ironed out soon.

Well nue's battery tweaks aren't graphical. One DLL you can change just tells the phone to look at 1% changes instead of 10% changes. The other DLL you can change is the one that is graphical. There are tons of different graphical ones. I was just talking about the increment DLL.

For sure. It runs really fast but I can't get a keyboard to correctly install and sometimes I cannot get it to wake up and have to soft reset.

TouchPal installs fine on my Vogue. Also, you could try PCM Keyboard or Swype or Fingerboard. Unfortunately, I believe the wake up issue is with MS.

I managed to get a Sprint HTC Touch and I have the Verizon service, can I just use your rom and then run Verizon provisioning cab and manage to get it to where it can be activated on Verizon?

It currently is burned with the NfsFan version 17 carrier independent rom, but for some reason it still says Sprint under the clock on the titanium page. I also don't see any pri or prl files in setup even though I ran the verizon provisioning cab.

I need the phone to be able to mms/work for internet as well as a phone on the Verizon network.
