Are you sure? When I put in the code to activate the phone (MSL), it doesn't do anything. Would be nice if we could get the 'Update PRL' option under Settings working somehow.

It works on V0.8 and I'll double check V2.8 tomorrow.

23060 V0.9 going up now. V3.9 will follow later tonight or tomorrow (with the latest manila!).

OK, V3.9 is going up. I had to remove Office from it as that was where they problem was. I will try to get Office back in it ASAP.

Also, FYI, some programs in my programs file were mixed up with my VGA/WVGA ones. Sorry for the mix ups. I took it down until I can figure out what was what. I will also try to get this back up ASAP. (Edit: This is now fixed)

PS. The weather on the home screen will NOT work unless you have a location aware app installed (i.e, Google Maps) and your location updated.

What radio is required for this? I am using 3.37.77 and had problems placing calls and sending messages on 0.6 & 0.7.

No one else seems to be having any issues here or on XDA. Maybe try reflashing. Also, make sure you are flashing the latest stock ROM before you flash my ROM. That will make sure everything is setup fine. Also, make sure you are using the carrier CAB for your carrier.

I am trying the 3.9 version and it appears to be letting place calls and send messages.

I did find one issue, when displaying Messages (SMS) on the home screen, the Menu -> New option doesn't open up a new SMS. I have to go to All Messages -> Menu -> New.

This is some kind of bug since v0.6 or 0.7
When just flush "clean" rom without installing any tools/mods, everything works fine. After a day of playing, customizing, installing "crap" NEW messages doesn't work, when you click on message in contacts, but it work when click new, then find a name.

Hey i'm new here and this is my first ROM upgrade for my Bell HTC Touch. Just wanted to say this ROM is totally awesome changing from WM6.1 :headbang:

I did notice that in v3.9 i couldn't find ms office, or camera. I found the link on here for ms office and i had a copy of Camera.cab for PPC ver 5.07 (28987) (which by the way i'v found to be more responsive and sharper with this build then with WM6.1 and you can get rid of annoying shutter sound). I just mapped the shutter button to open the camera app.

Also Weather on the TouchFlo screen doesn't have any locations come up when i try adding.

I notice there's only one keyboard installed. Is there anyway to install a BIGGER (finger-friendly) keyboard?

Other than that i love the new system so far... it's like getting a completely new phone.

Just search for a keyboard, download it, and install it. Try out TouchPal, Fingerboard, or EzInput.

I noticed that the data only says Ev but before I did this ROM my data said Ra. How can I get Rev A data speeds again?

I am on Alltel/Verizon and it works great!

Is there any way to add/remove programs form the Home screen?

Is there a different Contacts program we can use in place of the current one?

Can we use a different Dialer or Dialer skin?

Your rA icon is just an icon. If you download an icon pack that has the rA symbol it will show up, and if the icon isn't in it, then it won't. It has nothing to do with your speeds.

You can change the home screen plugins the same as you have always done. Start>Settings>Personal>Home

You can use any contacts app you want.

You can use a different dialer, but a lot do not work with these new builds.

Great work! Thus far it works great on Alltel/Verizon. Today I will be in a roaming area and will test there too.

Check out the App CLauncher, very easy to add programs to the Main menu. I found it here... http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=205117

Also, is anyone having issues with the touch screen? Mine keeps not responding and then I soft-reset and it works again. I am using the ...60 version and will update to the ...64 shortly.

just updated from 60, my txt msgs show on screen then disaprear when i try to read them.... also i am not recieving msgs from people. any ideas? im using telus.

Question, Sprint here. I installed the weather fixes and now TouchFlo one load. It keeps saying "Tap here to launch TouchFLO" I tap it say's launching then goes back to tap here.. any ideas?

Same thing with me. After the CDMA home weather fix it wont launch. If you uncheck the home tab in M2DC it will launch again, but to what point without a home screen.

Finally working, but can not change from Metter, GA on the home screen. The weather tab works great.

I found with the last version that the TouchFLO would not start up if you have some the the check boxes enabled in the M2S tabs for some things like MyFavesWidget, OperatorWidget, FootprintsWidget, and TVWidget. Unchecked those and it worked again.

I also found that Metter, GA was the only place that would load up in Weather. Even after entering my 'Weather Location Code' manually didn't work. Also tried the weather patch elsewhere and didn't fix the problem.

i'm currently testing the T2_V2 Rom and the weather app works fine and i love the bigger keyboard, but i like the screen 'eye candy' and tweaks better with NagRom's 23060 version (and i'v also found NagRom's last version to have better camera shutter response after installing vogue_camera.cab).

Will start testing this version (23064) shortly. :mrgreen:

Dunno man. Did you install your carrier cab? My only other suggestion would be make sure you are flashing to the latest stock ROM first, then reflash mine.

1. If you must use that super old plugin for some reason, it should still work. I haven't tested it though, so no promises.
2. I'm not sure what you mean about this.
3. No you cannot remove anything that is installed with the ROM.
4. You cannot shutdown programs unless you use the Windows Task Manager (Windows
will auto close any programs that it needs to, as it auto-manages the memory for you).
5. You can adjust the hard buttons by going to Start>Settings>Personal>Buttons
6. You can customise the start menu however you want using the app Restart. Search for
it.

My advice is for you to NOT us V3.10 and instead download and use V0.10. It sounds like you want to get rid of everything that is in V3.10 (you want old HTC Home, you don't want any the widgets, etc). Use V0.10 and make it how you want it.

I am having the same issue with the weather on my phone. After I install the two weather cabs TouchFLO wont launch. How do I get to the weather city editor? Do you think the issue could be because I didnt set anything up using the weather city editor?

Uninstall the weather fix cab. Touchflo should now work. Go to the weather tab, select a city and let it update. Now install the weatherfix cab from the first post. You should now have weather on the home tab. I don't know anything about the weather city editor.

I need some help. My HTC Touch touch screen died today. I can still use the phone with its buttons. But then I did a stupid thing... I reloaded the OS to see if the touch screen would come back. NO LUCK. Now my phone is useless because its stuck on the TAP HERE screen.

NagRom, Is there any way you can make a rom that doesn't go through the screen setup program on install? This way I could reload my contacts and use my phone until I decide on which one I want to buy as a replacement. (HD2 if Verizon gets it)
