yes it does have manila, but I've installed the weather fixes and can't get the correct weather on the manila clock......I've searched for my city in the editor (nashville,tn) and although it lists it, doing the search brings no results.

Dunno if you just misposted or don't know, but this is a Windows Mobile build, not Android.

ok so i flashed 3.15 yesterday and i am thoroughly impressed. i even located a GPS program and had it sync already. however when i installed google maps, the app wont launch. just returns to the home screen. any thoughts as to why this isi happening?

wow dude, 3.15 is fast and smooth. had a little issue with stability i1nitia2lly33 but i reflashed and hard reset 3 times and it has run super. cant get the weather fix to install correctly but i have a way around it. is there another weather fix someplavce

WOW i cant say enough how impressed i am with this rom. smooth and quick. grannted i had to run a carrier cab, big deal. i have had one lag issue so far and it was only after i had 5 or 6 apps running. i can swap back and forth between haret and winmo flawlessly. have to keep ram cleaner running to keep the phone quick. thanks chef for such a good rom.

my issue,
ok so i have tried just about every home/manilla weather patch i can find and nothing works. i can get it to install fine but nothing givers me the option to 'setup'. am i missing something?

also looking for a better camera cab, any suggestions? i have a decent one in android but just looking for whats out there

hey i had my good old weather fix from somewhere (might be from Vin or Nag, don't remember) that i use for most of the roms that come out, it worked fine. It's called HTC Manila Home Weather Infos. Just make sure you uninstall any other weather fix first.

Use the camera from the Program.rar that is posted on the first post. As far as the weather fix goes, I don't have any problems with the one in the link on the first post. Make sure you follow all the directions exactly. Otherwise, I'm sorry, I dunno of any other fix.

have active sync configured with google sync. here in the past 3 days i have been getting an error message stating server options have been changed, all current changes will be lost. this is not really a problem as i use it mostly for e-mail but there are days i have many of calendar changes and this can be some what of a nuisance.
anyone else with the same experience?
any suggestions on how to resolve?
i have already hard reset- 3 times- and reflashed, same thing all the way around.

I haven't read into it, but I heard something a couple days ago that Google was having trouble with it's syncing. I'll bet that is the problem.

In other news, the new builds don't appear to have much changed in them, so I'm holding off until we see some good changes.

I can confirm that Google was having issues. All seems to be fine now. I ended up deleting the profile and reconfiguring GSync.

Do you only have the WM6.5 keyboard installed with this rom? If so, when I install my own keyboard (ezinput or fkb2.1) do I need to install sip changer as well in order to get it to be the default keyboard?

This is correct. I actually didn't install any keyboard. The new keyboard just replaces the old default MS keyboard. Otherwise it is the same as these ROMs have always been.

would you happen to know how to change the fixed position of where my keyboard pops up. im using swype keyboard with your rom but when texting the keyboards position is set too low and covers the taskbar a bit.

Yeah, that is because of 6.5.x. I don't know how to fix it on the Touch. Try looking for and running the eNative's Showcase Suite. That might fix it, but I dunno.

also i have another problem. i had to install the htc camera because it was not included, but what im having problem with is linking the installed camera app to be the default. if i dont do this i cant use pdf scanner program i have because it has an error opening the default camera.

check system for buttons and selet the camera if it dont work seek out camera2.cab and follow the same usally works 99.6599% time if no buttons app seek it in cab form should work out for you..but faster reply if you pm him dont see much of him in vogue ne more but i do wear pop cap glasses so i cant see much no way lol

No, it's just a task manager with some 6.5.x adjustments. You will have to look into it. I don't use it.

I am not able to connect to the internet, hence I cannot update my weather, myphone or do anything requiring an internet connection.

I flashed everything perfectly with your NagROM_V3.16_Touch and don't seem to have any other issues.

I am on Sprint and the data connection is set to #777 (Cellular Line)

Also, when I go into 'Settings - Services - Internet' and click on the 'Start' button for (Client-Initiated IOTA) I get nothing at all happening.

When I login into www.sprint.com and go to my account, I navigate to 'My Sprint - Settings & Passwords - Member Information' and am using that 'username' and 'password', but 'nothing' for the domain:*. Am I supposed to fill in these fields at all or am I putting the right stuff in there?

Yes I did. The first time around I did these steps...

1st - Flashed latest original carrier rom/radio
2nd - Unlocked phone
3rd - Flashed with NagROM_V3.16_Touch
4th - Installed dcd_Sprint_Carrier_20090831 as I have Sprint.

After all of this I figured I was all good and tried the internet with NO luck! Of course, I could still make phone calls and text just FINE.

Then, I went back and did Steps 1-3 again, thinking "wait, this V3.16 is made for Sprint", so I just tried the internet again w/o installing the Sprint Carrier file and still no luck! Of course, yet again I can still make/receive calls and texts perfectly fine!

So, I've tried both ways and also tried with NO username/password/domain and again with several combinations of these, including the ones from my Sprint.com account and STILL nothing.

What am I doing wrong???

Whenever I had this problem I would just flash to stock ROM run internet from that then flash to custom ROM. I have never needed to run a carrier cab.

So, would you do any 'hard resets' at all? Cause CodyBear's notes say to do so, but wouldn't that erase the data settings if you did a hard reset in between flashing the stock ROM and the new custom ROM?
