FYI: I just found another great plugin, JLM Today. Basically, requires Motoscript and then you turn off Titanium, install it, tiurn Titanium back on and yay - you got weather, based on MSN Weather (meaning - it is EASY to find weather codes for even a small village - none of that Accu Weather nonsense).

The only thing I am trying to figure out is how to make the graphics a little bit bigger. The plugin is very customizable so there is a lot to mess with.

Re: Vortex ROM by Andrewwelton [08/29/09] *V3, Finally*

Ah sorry for no replies or updates lately guys... between school and work I'm sort of burned out.
Anyways, back onto my plans etc.
Yes I have found out WHY GPS isnt working, whats causing it not to work and how to fix it I do not know. Something somewhere is preventing the COM ports from being opened for GPS. This I know because when using the GPS tool to force open the ports I can get a lock no problem.
My plans are to upgrade to ali3n's ervius kitchen and convert to that. This means new sys version and hopefully fixed GPS with these builds...
Only time will tell.
If I'm not dead after tomorrow, I will try and maybe send out a few testers with ervius kitchen to those who would like them.

This ROM isnt dead, and it wont die (but I just might! )

Ok well i might have some good news for you then, I believe you are using a OEMdriver pack given to you by WDM from the 3.14 verzion rom, ditch it and get try the ppckitchen orginal one. I also have included these drivers (3.14 rom) in ervius visual kitchen and guess what ...no gps so went back to ppckitchen oem ones and guess what gps working, i have not pinpointed where the issue is yet but try that and see what happens

Re: Vortex ROM by Andrewwelton [08/29/09] *V3, Finally*

just replace the oemdrivers from WDM with ppckitchen ....wait a sec

if u using visual kitchen go here and delete all files, then extract attachment, copy & paste to Kitchen\OEM\Vogue\COMMON\OEMDrivers

ppckitchen go here C:\Program Files (x86)\PPCkitchen.org\BuildOS\Kitchens delete RAR file Drivers_Vogue and replace with the attachment
Attached Files
File Type: rar Drivers_Vogue.rar (1.72 MB, 8 views) Click for barcode!

Re: Vortex ROM by Andrewwelton [08/29/09] *V3, Finally*

Okay guys...
Thanks to ali3n and his help, visual kitchen is ALMOST up and running. (Finally built one, will flash tomorrow, fingers crossed for a bootable ROM!! Sys version is 25053)
And because I love my users I have the following to say:
In V4, if I can OEM-ify it correctly, expect a new, sleek and very functional contact manager (not made by me, im not THAT good )
AND
EZInput 2.1 from the Mega (Not exactly 100% fully featured, but it works GREAT and I've been using it all week)

Pics to come probably tomorrow
