I hope enough people will request it. I only use manilla now. At first I didn't like it, but then after using it, I think it's awesome.

As promised, here are pictures of the programs I was talking about adding in.
Thoughts? Opinions? Other programs you want to see? Let me know!
The black program is Yota Contacts (There is a contact list, but I didnt take a picture of mine because I dont have time to edit out my contacts atm).
No, Yota does NOT replace the ROM dialer, BUT you can dial from inside the contact manager.
The other doesnt need an explanation

Re: Vortex ROM by Andrewwelton [08/29/09] *V3, Finally*

Thanks jake.
I'm pretty sure yota oem'd correctly but the ezinput oem'd with 3 rgu's so it wont work atm.

Also for Mega Manilla, it is great, been using it for a while. Installed ALL cabs from xda thread and it works rather well. There are some bugs though. If i can figure out how to oem all the cabs I will try and maybe make 2 versions of V4, one with Titanium and one with Manila.

But dont get to excited, I'm having some problems with the 23503 sys.

Re: Vortex ROM by Andrewwelton [08/29/09] *V3, Finally*

So, I have a possibly dumb question:

With a v3 ROM, I do not have a battery icon in the taskbar. Is this a known issue with that build of 6.5? To see the battery status, I need to go to Start > System Info?

I am considering loading this on my wife's phone and want to make it as easy as possible... This ROM has been good and stable for me so I think it is pretty safe.

EDIT: I was able to install Ariel Battery 2.1 and it works fine, but I wonder how come the ROM does not show the stock battery indicator?

Re: Vortex ROM by Andrewwelton [08/29/09] *V3, Finally*

I have no idea why you have no battery meter.... sorry for not replying in forever. Got some news though...

Roms not dead, I'm still working on it, I'm just having major major roadblocks with ervius visual kitchen and the newer system version. Currently I have a booting ROM with the 23069 SYS, but NO service and no titanium/home screen.
I will try and keep this thread up to date more and I'm trying to work through all the problems.

Hope you all havent lost faith

I am considering this ROM among others, so I do not have it on my phone, but have you tried to select the batter meter to show in the taskbar in the registry? I am trying to find where it is right now, I cannot remember off the top of my head.

EDIT:
Battery
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\
"TBOpt"=dword:1 (enable top battery meter) You may have to add TBOpt dword if it doesn't exist.

"TBOpt"=dword:0 (disable top battery met)
