Okay, I've got some relatively good news.
That tool that I mentioned, well it works to put it bluntly.

I was able to get a lock on 7 sattelites in Google Maps, BUT the tool had to run in the background. I believe the root cause of the problem is that the Com4 or whatever ports are not being opened properly on my ROMs, Why? I have no clue.

For anyone/everyone who is having GPS problems.
It seems to work with certain programs, and not others. I think its because some (ie Garmin) open the Com ports or force them or something lol idk.
I'm really stumped by this.

Hmmm I tried it but it did not seem to work; but after reading the whole XDA thread - ti seems like about 5 mins might not be enough. I'll play with this in next day or two!

Thank you. Ok this is my first time I got it loaded looks sweet by the way. Restored my contacts setup the internet and checked it. Can make calls receive and send texts get on the internet. Only thing that does not work is picture messaging. Can you help me get that to work?
