It bugged me too but finally fixed it.

I had problem with Data since 20931 build but never had time to nail down the OEM that's causing it. Might be the RDM as well.
Haven't tried 21018 yet.
Yep the ppck RDM oem is broken for newer sys (its pre 20k sys) and will break data.

Thank you. Now it stays connected but emails still not getting pushed. I have to sync manually once in a while.

Check the ActiveSync settings on your desktop. Right-click on the ActiveSync icon in the System Tray and click Connection Settings. Look for a box labeled Allow wireless connection on device when connected to the desktop. That is probably not checked. Check it and push mail should work again when connected.

Thats not it former palm its a problem with the direct push in 21018 on the device itself. Try this cab I made as it corrects the reg and installs the 21015 actsync.dll. This MAY??? fix it. Updated cab to include 21015 repllog.exe too as per former palm. Make sure you have activesync killed from taskmgr before trying to run it or uninstall it.

Try also using repllog.exe from 21015.

I mis-understood his problem. The other problem with 21018 AS is that it sometimes shuts down for no apparent reason. If you are set to manually or as items arrive vs. some time-based schedule, once it shuts down, it won't restart on its own until you plug-in to USB (all driven by what AS puts in the notification queue). Another user on XDA is chasing this problem and solved it by using the 21015 repllog.exe.

The real problem to solve is why does the 21018 repllog.exe shut down sometimes?

Can someone please post the repllog.exe from 21015?
