Re: Iolite/Manila 2d OEMs
I know what the problem is I had it when the Iolite rom first came out and I extracted the files myself when you take the files and build a cab out of them then convert into an OEM there are some reg keys that are made with a generic # put in its place so you have to go through the RGU in question and fix them it will be something like this xxxxxx an you need to change it to like this xx. Something to that effect. let me know if I can help.

Looks like it supports different navi software depending on carrier I assume, I got the Iloite files packaged with a version of TomTom but it wouldnt install and I think there are legality issues so I didnt post it. I assume if you have the matching navi software that the carrier should supply it will work, see the list of DLL's it includes in post 20. |

Re: Iolite/Manila 2d OEMs
For custom cities in M2D you need the file from here and just drop it into your windows folder with the weather cities file (I made my own that just covers Canada) and it has worked for me before. I'm guessing that for this build of M2D the file needs to be changed but that is far ahead of my capabilities. It's only a concern for me because I live almost 3 hours away from the nearest city and the weather is very different from there.

Re: Iolite/Manila 2d OEMs
ok i found some cabs for the new iolite version that all work good,, but i have come across another problem i have to press the start menu to get manilla to start or it justs sits there with the message "tap here to launch touchflo" and tapping here not work, the other problem is on the messaging tab when i press the button for to create new text message nothing happens
edit ok i got manilla to start by changing this value in the rgu file [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Keybd\ChangeHomeByP ostMessage] "HTCManila2D"=dword:00002B12 to this [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Keybd\ChangeHomeByP ostMessage] "HTCManila2D"=dword:00002b12 i dont really know if i really makes a difference a capital B to a samll b but i came to this conclusion after checking the rgu in version 20 of manilla 2d Last edited by ali3nfr3ak; 02-13-2009 at 07:52 PM. |

Try including the album, it may have some files the other ones need, there was a decent ammount of overlap between the cabs that I might have missed one or two files. Does instaling the CAB for audio mananger make any difference? |
