Re: Official Bell Mobility GPS/Sat Radio/Rev A. Update!

I tried skype (.18 beta) breifly with no success although it was a different error than the one I am used to seeing so maybe there is hope?

to clarify the error still came at startup before skype signs in or anything, just a different message (can't remember what it said now)

I had the exact same problem, I just plugged my phone into a differnt computer and ran the update on that computer instead, worked like a charm

Must just be something with some computers that it doesn't like (might require a specific service to be enabled or something).

Bottle,

The link I gave you IS the version I flashed.

More info please.

Were you able to flash the ROM from the link I provided and your getting errors or did not flash at all?

Had the same problem with NFSFAN's ROMs. No matter what I did once installed I couldn't connect to the computer for activesync. I appear to have been the only one who had the problem.

Love the new Bell ROM. Faaast GPS locks.

Fabulous.

Same problem here too. I had recently downloaded the XP3 service pack and installed it. I suspect it corrupted the activesync application. So, removed and reinstalled the activesync and this Bell update went and installed cleanly.

i ran into this problem a while back and the only solution i could find was to use another computer to do the upgrade.. i searched and posted all over with no luck...used a different comp and worked perfect ( from the same file on a usb drive) so it's not the file its something on the host comp that is not allowing the ruu to work ..
