I am working on multicarrier version of this. So It would be alltel, verizon and sprint.

That way it will be available for more people. I am working on that, and once I have that posted I will be sure to help you.

Con-- what is the differences in the 'base' that the last release and the new Alltel 6.1 use? Is it a newer/faster base?

no, nothing is really changed, the numbers when your first start it up are different. so instead of something like 3.09.66, it is now just 3.10. That is really about it though. No real advantage though. So for you I do not think you will see any advantage,

Plus with you getting a new phone here shortly, no need to redo everything and set it all up again.

In the screenshots of the long press end key I see it has the spot for terminate data connection - it just doesn't work though??

So from the 10-3-08 update to today's update - no real advantages basically? What about the RevA or whatever that was with the alltel release?

Terminate data, is there, but it will not work, You can use Airplane mode to disconnect it tho. the only reason I went with that end key, was because I really prefer the graphics over the older one.

RevA is also included in there, but with alltel having limited RevA areas, I wouldnt call that a major advantage. It does have that revA tho.

But yeah not a real advantage over other updates. I am looking for a MMS/SMS that allows the messages to be in the same thread. So If I find that I will post a new update.

Could you also make it with no carrier version for us using MetroPCS. Also how to get ridoff the battery line on top of the screen?

Yeah I can try and get metroPCS in there has well. But can you explain by what you mean by "battery line on top of screen" But no I can try and get has many carriers has I can. It will take me a few days to get it all together. but I will get around to it.

any knowledge if the battery life is better then the last manilla? i had to force myself to the new alltel 6.1 bc my battery wouldnt even last me half a day, on barely any usage

I am not sure, I think the main reason would maybe be manilla more resouse then the HTC home, you can try my post in number 2, it has all the updated applications and everything, but without manilla, and without opera.
