heh, whoopsss.. Clear Storage program isnt the same as Clear Temp . i had data connection and gps all working on my phone, then i did Clear Storage, which i guess hard reset back to orig OMJmanilla2d rom settings. confusing why data doesnt work now though and calls go to verizon saying call is being transfered to an external operator. ahhhh i hung up before reaching them. what could have gone wrong?

PS I am on verizon, upgraded while back to bell 3.42.40 radio, and using manilla2d

same with regular omj 3.09.01 rom.

i do see a big 'R' to the left of the data connection icon on top bar area of the phone that i never saw before.
any ideas?

i called *228 to get spl programming or whatever it is called, this solved i think the data not working. i prob have to call verizon to get phone reauthenticated. weird, never had to do that, except when went to a new radio

EDIT after that, called #8899 to reauth my phone. worked. phewwww

PS in the clean manilla2d rom, java doesnt work, says jeodak not a valid ppc app.
i removed the shortcut from programs menu and just installed Cloudyfa_EsmertexJbed.cab
and installed java apps off web. worked.

I'm trying to get the bell music store to work on the Manilla versions, but still getting jeodak not a valid ppc app. Any work arounds?

I think the answer is no but, is there a way to update m2d to the newest realease? I wanted to be able to use m2dc to change themes. I'm having problems changing themes unless they are in cab files, I close m2d and when I try to replace the files it won't let me(I don't know if it has to do with me using a mac or me just being slow). Thanks

I've removed all the MSMETADAT and xml crap from the sd card. It works when the sd is not present (ie does not get stuck in search). Windows media sees the music no problem. I have and 8Gb Sandisk micro sd.

not sure what to tell ya....I go to the music widget, it searches for a few secs (2gb sd card), then shows the 1st song.

maybe try running the Verizon carrier cab from post # 1?

something in m2d must have broke the bell music, not sure right now what it was, I'll look into it. I know it was working on my non-m2d 3.09 roms.

Maybe kei78 will reply what he did to fix.

I just compared the lasted & there's alot more changes..... I'm building v3 now, should be up soon, it will have the latest version.
