Has anyone tried restoring a bunch of text messages to see if it threads them all? I have like 9000 text messages (ever since I've had the phone).

Sorry ... was looking for this in my archives ...

I know you need a cab, because an OEM folder requires a new rom, which will hard-reset your device ...

I have NO personal experience with this program.

spb mobile shell 2.x has known battery issues with shell32.exe (i'm not sure if i'm quoting the right process and i'm too lazy to look it up right now). uninstalling it as well may tend to not take care of it in some situations...

I am getting this same error message.

I am new to this update process and am probably doing something wrong that is totally basic...

... do I need to unlock my phone first ??

Re: NEW official Sprint ROM posted on XDA-dev by DCD

I don't know about Spb Backup v2.0, but it's older versions sucked beyond reasoning. It would literally takes 20-30 minutes just to backup and sometimes over an hour to fully restore. I demanded a refund since then and have used Sprite backup without problems. It backups and restores in just a few minutes to my memory card directly (Spb would take several times longer to backup to the card)!
