Updated!! (5/18/08) ALMOST OEM 6.1 Sprint Vogue ROM **V.2.1** with Working GPS/Rev A.

Any one have problems with GPS I can't get it to work. Do you have to set anything up

I just installed your ROM. I was previously running JD's OEM 6.1 (non revA non gps) rom.

I've been using the rom for about 3 hours now and I have some initial comments.

1) Software store, IM, Sprint Music, and On Demand, all throw errors when selecting them from the cube.

2) Initially my GPS took about 20 minutes to get its first connection. Since then its been better, finding a lock in a matter of seconds. However, its still kind of flaky. I usually see 5-6 active satellites outside and about 3-4 inside except google maps cannot always find a connection. It seems that sometimes I have to load up telenav and let it locate some satellites before gmaps can find any. This doesn't happen all the time though, so i'll spend some more time tomorrow figuring out the root cause.

Otherwise the ROM seems very responsive, Nice work! I'll play with my rom and the GPS a little more tomorrow and see if i notice anything else.

Also do you recommend loading the 3.37.15 radio from the sprint leaked rom? I am currently running the 3.37.10 from the alltel rom

i think i found a bug here is what i wanted to do i went to settings to check what is the sound of my alerts i going to step by step post it not that the op you do not know what i am talking about but to see if anyone else gets the bug

in settings under the personal tab click sounds and notifications when opened click the notifications tab and under event scroll to reminders press the > play sound

phone freezes only way out is soft reset

now here is what i am like wtf i get the windows sync screen again only way out is a soft rest

music store, im, sprint store. is not installed and on demand has a update go the sprint store online from a pc and download it however its name changed off my head i forgot the name.

also it helped i disabled error reporting
phone became faster but that can be a sugar pill all in my mind lol

I am not sure if others are having this trouble but I downloaded V2.1 and I cannot seem to access Camera. I cannot get to it by Camera button or even from photo album.

Not sure if I am the only one having this issue or others as well.

Ok, first I want to say that this ROM is amazing so far, you did a great job.

The ONLY problem I'm having right now is that Slide to unlock locks with about 5 seconds of me not touching the screen...which is extremely annoying, is there anyway I can change this?

EDIT: Nvm! I fixed it, turned off the "Power on when backlight turns on" feature. ^-^

Hi, I'm pretty new here and have spent many many hours researching before actually trying the unlocker, gps rom update, etc... This rom is real nice, I'm liking everything about it so far. I've downloaded this and noticed a few things if I hasn't already been mentioned.

- I think somebody mentioned it already, when you go to align the screen it freezes up the phone.

- For some reason when I'm using touch flow it has a tendency to pull up windows media instead of the cube. It feels like when my finger doesn't grip good enough and I slide windows media pops up, but when I press down really hard is when I'm sure the cube will come up.

- Lastly, the organizer tab on the bottom left worked fine at first, but for some reason now it's not working. I resetted the phone a few times, when I tap it nothing happens.

Let me confirm: I had posted align-screen freeze issue but removed it thinking it must be me after I did a soft-reset. So yes, align screen freezes.
