I posted earlier about the problem I was having with my bluetooth headset (blueant Z9) and here is the progress I've made. My original problem was that I could not activate voice command from my headset. I found the following thread very useful http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=391262 . I followed the registry fixes for my problem but created more problems (sound would not come out of my headset). After flashing my phone again, I reinstalled voice command and it fixed my problem. This is the only ROM I've had this issue with but since I like this ROM so much I was determined to fix it instead of going to another ROM. I notice others having other bluetooth issues. This ROM has had some APPS I haven't had in other ROMS and perhaps one of them is causing these rare issues. Just my 2 cents.

I can't get JiveTalk Alpha (2008 05 10) to run. Gives some sort of exception...

I wonder if any of this has to do with the .net framework? I really like this ROM and don' want to flash again!!

This is the third ROM I've used on my Touch. The ifrst Alltel rom was great but it looked like "alltel" - the second was OMJs and was also a solid rom except I had issues with Flash and vidoes not playing. Then I did this ROM and I really like it but I do have the "return from suspend" issue with GPS with this rom...didn't have it with either of the other two. The GPS just will not reinitialise if the phone goes to suspend mode. Requires a soft reset to get GPS working again. kind of a pain...any ideas?

You do that procedure that invovles running PPST?

i haven't had too, or rather I haven't tried that when the GPS won't initialise. When I come off a reset, google earth initialises the GPS w/o issue and locks within a few minutes. it's only after the phone goes to suspend mode that i cannot get it to lock, but what you're saying is ppst, at these times, would fix that?

Correct, running ppst has made a world of a difference for me. I had similar issues as you. I've probably tried 5 different ROMs, and all different versions of 3.X radios. I disregarded the PPST forum thread as I thought it only applied to using the leaked sprint ROM. After running PPST off of the leaked Sprint ROM, I've been able to get a GPS lock EVERYtime. Even after my phone goes to standby. I was even standing next to my co-worker who has an ATT Tilt which has GPS out of the box. We tested to see who could get a GPS lock faster and he had problems getting one (we at the office) I got one in less than 30 seconds. Outside my lock doesn't take longer than 15 seconds.

I would like to use this ROM but the link does not work. Can anyone verify if it works as I am not sure if my work will block it (thought it should not Stupid Proxy server/WebSense!!!)

What's the diff between TouchFlo and FTouchFlo? I thought FTouchFlo was just a hack to get TouchFlo on non-touch phones. Should I have both enabled?? Are there any conflicts?

Correct, originally it was a hack. Now, some people put it on their touches also so they wont have to do the reg entry to change the sensitivity.
