Yeah, it's a hidden file, which makes me wonder everytime someone posts that the file's not there. In the file explorer you have to press the menu button and then click on "show all files". That'll make it visible.

Ok thanks I thought I had to do a secret step or something to get it to show up... But im going to see if my GPS works now with that because it wasn't working last night without it. Google maps keeps saying there is no GPS reciever so hopefully I get something now!

Great ROM, and instructions were great. No issues with the new ROM or GPS. Two questions. How can I get the IM program from Sprint back on to the phone, and how can I fix "this program does not have avalid certificate" errors. Also there were two buttons on the sprint home screen that did not work. Thoughts?

Cool the mp3 trimmer, I like it it simple and all the music thats on my sd card this make it easy to make ringtones without having to sync and etc.....

GPS works wonderfully! Thanks a lot man I been waiting anxiously for a rom with GPS that actually works. Plus the rom itself is great! I wish I had more hands cause I would give this one for thumbs up!!! IM RICK JAMES B****!

Hey so I have a few more comments on this rom.

1) My GPS is still pretty flaky, I am going to try and install the VIRSER_GPS dll and see if that helps. I live in Seattle and shouldn't have any coverage problems.

2) The touch keyboard has a lot of problems, it doesn't remember if you were last in t9 mode, it doesn't work with skyfire, or telnav at all really. By doesn't work, in both skyfire and telnav every time you press a key in the 20 key layout it just prints a period or another symbol rather than any letters.

I'm not sure if everyone is having these issues or if they just for me but in my experience too much information is better than no information.

also for everyone using this rom, I love this hack, I use it on every ROM I have... It allows you to remove the permissions check that the emmerstec java shows you every time you startup the browser. You can get all the info from here. http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/656281-post19.html

The ROM is great, installation was no problem, but I am also having flaky GPS connection. Will it help to do that PSST installation from the other thread on this forum? I haven't tried it, but has anyone tried that?

Yes, I did, and it helped a lot. I am getting consistent locks in 15 seconds now as opposed to 2 minutes. Although I had flashed the leaked ROM before this custom ROM, I no longer had the PPST in my windows folder and I had not run it when I was on the leaked ROM, so I used the CAB file that was on around page 14 of the "...Try This!" thread. That put the PPST in the Windows folder then I ran it.

Anyone having connection speed issues? Is this Rev A? I used to get over 800kbit/sec consistently with my last update, but now I only get <600kbit/sec.
