Arrow First Observations.

Thanks again guys, great work.

Quick observations;

When I chose the skinny bars, my 1X icon stayed up even in EV.

If I don't, it shows the obese bars and works as it should, but the arrows don't seem to animate, they do go gray when it goes idle.

Something is making the phone sluggish, which I read HTC task manager does, but this time I installed wktask again, even though it seems to wear out the battery quicker, same result. Not sure what is causing it, made the same selections as before, so I will have to go process of elimination.

Without "vista hide battery" selected, I notice a gray bar in it's place. Is this standard on the ROM. I noticed it with the 5066+ ROMS, but thought it was something added by no2chem.

Also I am not sure if it's me, but it seems that if you tap an icon or area and there is another under it, it seems to activate that app or icon instead of the one over it.. If you understand what I mean.. This might be due to the phone being sluggish, gonna have to flash a few more times adn see if it's something causing it.

Re: Vogue GPS 3.02 Kitchen - Updated

Love the kitchen! A little overwhelming for me as I don't really know what all the options stand for (programs).

I wish there was a button I could click on that would select all the options that are in a OEM Sprint ROM for me, then I could add or subtract from that.

Is there such an option that I'm missing?

Try a hard reset and recalibrate your screen make sure u hit it in the center of the +. The gray bar is from wktask which is the built in battery meter inside wktask so if you choose this as a task manager do not choose vistahide..

Re: Vogue GPS 3.02 Kitchen - Updated

Whats Does this Registry Key Means, i think if we make DisableBackupEFS = 0 in cab file and then Install it and then Run the PPST.exe again we could know what PPST is doing after reading the backup if we could find it

Code:
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\PPST]
"DisableBackupEFS"=dword:00000001

Extracted from PPST_080407_7500_SPCS_2.03.sa.CAB from Sprint 3.02 Kitchen

Re: Vogue GPS 3.02 Kitchen - Updated

I searched the thread and didn't see this issue, so I'm guessing I'm the only one.
Contacts refused to load for me if I selected the following 3 options in PIM:
HTC Random Access
Inbox menu extensibility
PPCContacts Manager

When I had those three loaded it refused to open contacts... it would briefly show "contacts" at the top, then "crash" back out to the today screen.
As it was late, I didn't feel like reflashing 3 times to figure out if just one was causing it. So I just stripped them all and it works fine.

Thanks for the effort! hope this is helpful for you.

Re: Vogue GPS 3.02 Kitchen - Updated

Same issue with previous update,

Beam: Receive all incoming beams. is checked off but with the 8 button Vogue Default Comm Manager it shows it's on and I have had to Tap it off manually.

With the 6 button Comm Manager, beam isn't an option. Other than the check on the Connections Settings, how can I tell if it's really on or off?

P.S. What's with HTC Plus Plugin, that no one seems to use it?

EDIT: Does it seem that data drops to 1X more often now or an issue with this update?

What I'm seeing is when I first boot up I would get the antenna with the bars, I then connect to the internet, that antenna changes to the animate arrows... When I'm done and close all my applications, the arrows would turn gray and never turns back to the antenna unless I soft reboot... is this an issue or is this how it is supposed to be...?

You do not have to soft reset. That means that your data connection is connected and dormant. Just open up your Comm Manager and disconnect your data connection. The Arrows turn back into the Antenna.

By Default Holding the camera button down loads the Comm Manager as well. You can also use Long End Key Press and set it to end the data connection as well as other options.
