So why none of the htc home screens and the like on this ROM?
I like having those on my phone. Can I make them work with this ROM?

So, I tried this when I had the Alltel Rom (Ran the alltel ppst) and I lost my data connection but My GPS was working great afterwards. Then I flashed to this http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=26776 and ran the Sprint one, now my data connection is back

and my GPS is working flawless, inside and outside

Problems I noticed:
1)enabled airplane mode and when I disabled it to turn the radio on I got bunch of errors: "cannot execute ceipui.exe" and "cannot execute clocknot.exe" and "Tsskscheduke.exe" and "replog.exe"

2)Does anyone feel that the GUI on device is now running slower than before? Going from app to app or running different programs? Is it because of WM6.1 or all the programs that came installed with the ROM

3)I can't find PPST.exe in the windows folder. From the posts here it sounds like it was supposed to have been installed after the ROM update. However viser_gps.dll did come installed and I do get a lock after a minute or so.
was PPST.exe supposed to have come installed?

Actually ppst is a cab file. Run it, then go to windows and run ppst.exe

ya so im not sure if ajones already cleared this up for you or not but....this isnt a rom

hey after running the ppst.exe file whenever i am trying for GPS my Touch tries toi connect to my default data connection which earlier was not the case.
I an using destinator and earlier when ever i used it no data connection was needed but now after ppst update every time i start destinator my data connection starts which i dont want to.
Is there any way to stop this? or please tell me how to uninstall ppst.exe and revert back to earlier.

thats strange that a maps/navigation program did not previously require a data connection...? you sure on that?

also, im not sure if you really can actually reverse it without getting messy and trying to downgrade your spl and flash back the stock rom. but at the very least you can hard reset, which would indeed reverse some of the effects...?

yes i am very sure tthat Desinator program did not previously required any data connection.
now i wannt that thing again...
i want my desinator program to work without data connection.
please help me.

did/can you try hard-resetting? that just might do it but there's really no way to be sure till you try. there isnt really any way that im aware of besides the other dangerous ones i already mentioned to get this working....anyone else wanna chime in plz?
