Yes if you use the cab file it does not update your pri, and it also messes up your prl and your phone will be in constant roaming.

When the customizations run when hard resetting or flashing the phone beeps and a little window pops up for a split second asking if you want to update the radio. It then disappears into the background with no way to bring that window back up to select yes. This is why most people don't get their radios updated when flashing the leaked ROM. Even when you know the window is popping up it disppears to quickly. This is also why the customizations hang for so long at PPST, waiting for your input...

Hopefully there is now a way to get this going for non-Sprint folks...

Re: Sprint still having GPS problems? Try this!

Well I can report now that my GPS is working and working well. I flashed the Sprint Leaked ROM followed by the unlocker followed byOMJ's Custom Sprint ROM followed by a hard reset. Thats it. Nothing else.

I'm running Garmin-XT with GPS Intermediate Drivers (instead of COM 4 - com 4 WON'T WORK with Garmin for some reason. It does work with Google and GPS VIewer).

I'm getting at least 10 Sats now and it locks on in less than 10 secs. I will of course update you if it stops.

The only thing that I did differently was that I did all of the flashing at one time. Before yesterday, I would try the leaked rom. Then try something else .......eventually working my way through various ROMS.

so will flashing the leaked rom, updating pri and going back to a cooked rom work? i've grown partial to my cooked rom, but all your success stories are becoming too much for me.

Flash leaked and let all customizations run, after it reboots, run PPST.EXE found in windows directory, it's a hidden file. It will updated your PRI. After which you can cook up custom OS ROM to your heart's content. As long as you don't flash a different radio or run some random CAB that edits your phone portion.

Re: Sprint still having GPS problems? Try this!

Just ran ppst still no lock indoors, then again I'm in a basement right now. Haven't tested the diff outside yet, or indoors above basement. But it was working fine outdoors anyway. (less the a min to lock) Sprint leak, with customizations ran.

I was already on PRI 2xx so this probably made no difference in my case.
