Re: Sprint still having GPS problems? Try this!

I can confirm this is it. My Vogue now locks 14 sats. My GPS now works like it does on the mogul. I am using igo 8 and astro just like I do on the mogul. Until companies incorporate the new gps drivers we will have to prime the gps. Google maps and Live search no longer need to be primed. I had 18 sats locked onmy way home today and I lock on to at least 10 while in my house.... Great JOB........

I am on a bell touch but I dont want to run the ppst because it will mess up my phone. Any body figure out how to work this for a different carrier?

Re: Sprint still having GPS problems? Try this!

I can also confirm that this seems to be a real fix. Garmin is working alot better now and gets fixes (warm boots) inside my house.

I will see how it works tomorrow morning after being in standby for 8+ hours.

ROM version: 3.04.671.2
Radio Version: 3.37.10
PRL version: 60711
PRI version: 1.33_003

Under data parameters I only have:

Packet Dial String: #777

I dont have a line for evdo enable/disable

I havent been able to verify if I have rev A speeds or not. I havent noticed any problems with sms or receiving phone calls.
Where can I get this ppst.exe? I'm willing to try it and see what happens.

Re: Sprint still having GPS problems? Try this!

I am currently running the original gpstest rom and didnt see the PPST.exe file. Do I need to flash to the Sprint leaked rom first???

-Thanks
