i have an alltel arcsoft hack that i tried to upload but it said the cab was invalid? heres a link http://www.smartphonejunkie.com/show...ht=alltel+mail if you could make this i would appreciate it seeing as how it activated my mms on dcd's roms! thnx

rename the cab to upload it here. if it were name alltell.cab rename it to alltell.cab.zip then upload. I'm not smart enough to get past the image verification on that board....

Hey RSTOYGUY, you said in the first post that weatherpanel 2009 is verified working but mine always says "Waiting for storage card or invalid layout file" Am I doing something wrong?

you get that message after flashing; then you just have to set up weatherpanel. If you tap on that message on the today screen, you should end up at the settings page. You'll need to pick the cities you want, so that weatherpanel has something to display.

I picked a city and it says the same thing. I picked raleigh, NC

To get the OEM to work, I had to select a city...It is setup for "Wichita, ks" but the data is old. So as FCM suggested either click update or go into settings and select your city, then update. I can't remember, but I think you need to have the USB cable disconnected for the update.

I think the problem is "old" data when I oem'd it. The program knows it's setup and looks for data. The data in the OEM is old, so it looks on the storage card for new data. That's when it runs home to mama and gives you that error... I'm not the author, but that's my educated guess.

edit: and that's what I mentioned in the first post about "some trickery"

My usb cable is unplugged and I chose raleigh, NC and still get the same message. Can you post a city that is confirmed working? Also, how can I update the "old data"

I'll flash a new rom with that built in and refresh my memory. I'll play with it at work and see what I can finger out...

Thanks RSTOYGUY. Are you currently using this program? If so, what city did you choose that actually works? If not, what would suggest the best weather panel today screen is? I tried spb weather but that doesn't show you the "Current" temperature which is a big let down for software you have to pay for.
